Privacy Policy

Welcome to 60 Plus Association related websites.  We appreciate your interest in us. When you visit and navigate our sites and when you communicate with us via our sites, we will not collect personal information about you unless you provide us that information voluntarily.

60 Plus will not sell, license, transmit or disclose this information outside of 60 Plus and its affiliated organizations unless (a) expressly authorized by you, (b) necessary to enable 60 Plus or its agents to perform certain functions for us, or (c) required or permitted by law. In all cases, we will disclose the information consistent with applicable laws and regulations and we will require the recipient to protect the information and use it only for the purpose it was provided.

60 Plus websites collect two types of information from users: personal data such as zip code, email address and demographic information; and aggregated data such as information about traffic patterns on our websites (for example, how many users log on and what kind of browsers they use). On the latter, this information is provided by your internet connection anytime you surf the interenet and generally cannot be traced back to you directly and is more generic in nature.

60 Plus websites may utilize cookies to automate the process of logging on to certain internet resources. A cookie is a small data file stored on your computer that contains a single, randomly assigned user ID number. By recognizing this ID number, our websites can automatically log you in or provide you with the personalized content for which you requested. Cookies can neither read any other files on your computer, nor damage your computer. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you’d prefer, you can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent.

Personal data and information obtained by 60 Plus online assets will be used for the purposes described on the page where the information is requested.  In cases where we request credit card or other highly sensitive information, that information will be used solely to the degree necessary to fulfill the purpose described, and then that information will be deleted.  The 60 Plus Association will never disclose your personally identifiable information to a third party unless that party is an agent of 60 Plus or we are required to do so by court order, law or governmental agency.

Please note that your e-mail, like most, if not all, non-encrypted internet communications, may be accessed and viewed by other internet users, without your knowledge and permission, while in transit to us. For that reason, to protect your privacy, please do not use e-mail to communicate information to us that you consider confidential. If you wish, you may contact us instead via non-cellular telephone at the numbers provided at various locations on our sites.

60 Plus Association employees understand the need for user privacy and access to user data is strictly limited and can only be accessed by specific individuals who have the necessary username and password combination.

The 60 Plus Association reserves the right to change the policy on use of information collected. Any changes in policy will be noted in a revised privacy policy statement and will be posted at least 30 days prior to implementation.
