JACKSON, TENN.The 60 Plus Association, nationally recognized as the conservative alternative to the liberal AARP, tomorrow will launch a new ad regarding Roy Herron’s record.

“Speaker Pelosi’s liberal agenda hurt Tennessee seniors,” said Jim Martin, Chairman of the 60 Plus Association.  “The new health care bill cut $500 billion from Medicare, reduced access for many senior citizens, and discouraged physicians from accepting patients who have health care coverage from government-run programs, like Medicare.  Unfortunately, if elected, Roy Herron can be expected to be one more supporter of Pelosi’s failed policies.”

60 Plus began the ad campaign on August 6.  This is the third in a series of ads the organization has released in regards to Herron’s record.

ANNOUNCER:
We warned Nancy Pelosi not to do it… Not to push for a huge new government health program… One that costs a trillion dollars… Raises taxes… And cuts $500 billion from Medicare… But Pelosi did it anyway.  We may never know why career politician Roy Herron wants to join Nancy Pelosi after what she did to Tennessee seniors.  But this November, when you vote against Herron – he’ll now exactly the reason why.
