In Giving Thanks… Let’s Return to Patriotic Immigration

Over the past 100 years, Russia has attacked more than 19 countries, some of them even three or four times, none of these countries has ever attacked Russia.

– European Union Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas

The Democrats have inflicted on this nation the WORST national security threat in our HISTORY! We’ve never faced a threat like this…20 MILLION people brought into our country from the most failed societies on earth, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, Iraq, brought here. No vetting, no conditions, no rules.

– White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller

Not all Democrats are criminals, but most criminals are Democrats.

– Elon Musk

It is simply dangerous for elected officials to threaten the elected president of the United States by telling the honorable men and women in the American military and intelligence communities that obeying a presidential order is illegal or worse, criminal.

– Jeffrey Lord

You’re asking an enlisted person for their opinion on what they think is legal or illegal. That’s a slippery slope. Follow your Commander in Chief. That’s the oath you took.

– Congresswoman Lisa McClain (MI)

Peace is secured by strength. Weakness only provokes aggression.

– President Ronald Reagan

The reality is, Putin doesn’t want a ceasefire. Putin doesn’t want a negotiation. Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants Ukraine.

– Former Trump Deputy Secretary of State Stephen Biegun

Equality of rights does not mean equality of results. I can have all the equal treatment in the world on a golf course, and I will not finish within shouting distance of Tiger Woods.

– Thomas Sowell

R.I.P. Sarah Beckstrom: A West Virginia National Guard member who volunteered to serve over Thanksgiving so others could safely celebrate with their families.

A terrorist act… by someone who didn’t want to assimilate to become a patriotic American.

Patriotic Immigration: It’s time we return to patriotic immigration. For nearly 250 years, people from around the world risked it all to come to this country for their share of the American Dream. They immigrated because they wanted to live in a free, open, tolerant, and proud country that shared common values.

Most did NOT come for welfare, handouts, revolution, to change our country, to overthrow our government, or to become wards of the state at the expense of taxpayers.

It’s time we close our borders, vet EVERY immigrant, and only accept those who share our values and arrive here wanting to assimilate and become Americans… patriotic immigration.

My parents immigrated to the United States after World War II. They didn’t speak the language, were a young couple with two infant children, and ultimately found their share of the American Dream in an auto factory in Detroit. They proudly respected their heritage and shared that heritage with their children. However, they never considered themselves and their children as anything other than proud Americans of Lithuanian heritage.

They voted for Democrats like John F. Kennedy and Republicans like Ronald Reagan. They worked multiple jobs to support their family, eventually sent four children through college, and were thankful for the opportunities that this country offered them. They voted and engaged in civil discourse based on the things that were important to them, but never with the idea that the United States needed a revolution or a move towards a socialist/communist system which they escaped from during the war.

Open borders, mass immigration, unpatriotic, benefit-based immigration has proved to be a mistake.

Retribution vs Justice: An interesting article below with a decidedly negatively biased mainstream media about various individuals who may be prosecuted for various potential crimes.

The irony of the sanctimonious outrage from the left after years of going after President Trump and so many in Trump World is laughable as you watch them righteously complain with a straight face.

The one thing we can NOT allow to stand is the ability to use the federal government to go after one’s political enemies by politicizing our federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Congress should pass bipartisan legislation to make sure that NEVER happens again.

As for many of these “retributions” being exposed, let the legal process work its way through the courts. The Democrats have stacked the judiciary with sympathetic judges that I’m sure will give the “prosecuted” every benefit of the doubt they can get away with.

The idea of a politicized federal law enforcement and intelligence apparatus should be an outrage to EVERY American. Congress owes the American people protections, so this never happens again… this is serious and dangerous stuff.

Democrats Keep Stirring Up the Military: The Democrats’ rhetoric is dangerous and irresponsible.

There is one Commander in Chief, there is a clear chain of command, and Democrats’ political gamesmanship is going to get folks in real trouble.

Now, Democrat Members of Congress are saying that the military is telling them “we shouldn’t count them out as a check on abuses of power” by Trump.

Reckless and dangerous to encourage.

This could have similar, if not worse, results than when the Democrats encouraged and empowered “mostly peaceful” demonstrations that killed many and burned neighborhoods and city centers throughout America.

Unbelievable what Democrats are willing to do for political power?!?

Ukraine Peace Place: Simple, just not easy.

Russia should retreat from its illegal war in Ukraine, return to its own country, and respect its neighbor’s borders.

Putin’s war crimes of targeting civilians, kidnapping children, and his shameless disregard for basic human rights is inexcusable.

The United States, Russia, and much of Europe signed the Budapest Agreement to guarantee Ukraine’s independence in return for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons. We have a peace agreement in place… WE just need to implement it.

Putin: Ukraine Army Must Withdraw for Peace

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday the war with Ukraine could end if Ukrainian troops withdraw from territory Moscow claims. Otherwise, he said, his army will take it by force.

“We need to sit down and discuss this seriously,” Putin told reporters at the end of a visit to Kyrgyzstan. “Every word matters. If Ukrainian troops withdraw from the territories they occupy, hostilities will cease. If they don’t withdraw, we will achieve this by force.”

Putin has previously demanded that Ukraine pull out of the entire Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions before he considers any form of “peace negotiations,” including areas of those regions that Russia does not currently hold.

Occupation authorities to send 400 Ukrainian children to Russia for mandatory ‘exchange’ program

Approximately 400 Ukrainian children will be sent to Russia from occupied Zaporizhzhia Oblast for a mandatory “exchange” program by year’s end, the Center for National Resistance (CNR) reported on Nov. 27.

“The CNR analysts note that such trips take place in conditions of a complete lack of transparency and control mechanisms. Parents have no opportunity to influence the organization of such exchanges,” the report reads.

The Ukrainian children will be sent to Russia’s Yaroslavl Oblast for what Russian officials claim is an “interregional exchange” consisting of educational and sports activities.

“However, behind the facade of tourist rhetoric, another meaning is hidden — the systematic and controlled movement of Ukrainian children deep into the territory of the Russian Federation,” the CNR reports.

Moscow has forcibly abducted Ukrainian children from occupied territories to Russia, in violation of international law, prompting arrest warrants for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russia’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova from the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Over 500 schools in Ukraine’s occupied territories have been fully integrated into the Russian education system with mandatory propaganda classes.

Afghan terror and Somalia fraud shows why Trump is right on migrants

You have to be careful with a country. Even a nation as vast in size and huge in population as the United States cannot be endlessly experimented upon. You cannot just leave borders open, or allow in large numbers of people with totally different value systems from your own.

That is the mistake many European countries have committed in recent years. They have opened their homes up to people from almost every part of the world where there is civil strife, war or just a lower standard of living.

The results can be seen everywhere. It is the reason why a country like Sweden — that used to be such a placid, decent place — has become one of the most violent countries in the world not actually at war. Grenade attacks, gang-warfare: these things were recently alien to Sweden. Not anymore.

It is the same here in the United States — though here the effects are more dispersed, so the problem can be covered up for longer.

Russian imperial impunity is the key obstacle to a lasting peace in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump’s latest bid to broker a deal between Russia and Ukraine has sparked a flurry of diplomatic activity in recent days, with officials from Washington, Kyiv, Moscow, and across Europe all seeking to shape the contours of a possible agreement. For now, discussion has centered on immediate matters, such as the wording of security guarantees. However, the far deeper historical roots that have long driven Russian violence against Ukraine also hold important policy implications for any peace process.

Given Moscow’s enduring ideological extremism toward Ukraine, renewed attempts at hidden and open warfare are likely. For this reason, the lasting success of Trump’s plan will depend not only on its terms, but on the strength and logistics of the enforcement measures that accompany it.

Moscow’s current aggression against Ukraine is neither new nor unprecedented. It is, in fact, the latest iteration of a centuries-long Russian campaign to Russify and erase the Ukrainian people. From Peter the Great to Stalin and Putin, generations of Russian tyrants have directed violence at Ukrainians in ways that are deliberate, systematic, and filled with an ideological fervor that must be confronted.

Every city the Russian military bombs, every child it kidnaps, every Ukrainian life it destroys today can only be understood within the long genealogy of Russia’s imperialistic state ideology. For centuries, this violent brand of expansionism has been directed at Ukraine.

Russia Targets 82,000 Civilian Sites in Ukraine in 2023, Minister Says—Thousands Dead or Injured

Since the beginning of this year, Russian forces have carried out over 82,000 attacks on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, including residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and energy facilities. This was stated by Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, during the inaugural meeting of the Coalition of Shelters for Ukraine, Ukrinform reported on November 27.

“Every day, Russia deliberately targets civilian objects. This year alone, the enemy has launched more than 82,000 attacks on our residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and critical infrastructure,” Klymenko said.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oleksiy Serhiyiv added that, over nearly four years of full-scale war, Russian forces have carried out 400,000 strikes on civilian infrastructure. According to the National Police’s investigators, the attacks have resulted in 13,669 civilian deaths and 48,503 injuries. Additionally, 200,000 homes, 4,200 educational institutions, and nearly 1,800 medical facilities have been damaged or destroyed, according to Ukrinform.

US deal must punish Russia war crimes, says Ukraine’s Nobel peace prize winner

Any peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine that includes an amnesty for war crimes could encourage other authoritarian leaders to attack their neighbours, Ukraine’s only Nobel peace prize winner has warned.

Oleksandra Matviichuk said the leaked 28-point US-Russia plan did not account for “the human dimension” and she supported President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s efforts to rewrite it in dialogue with White House.

“We need a peace, but not a pause that provides Russia a chance to retreat and regroup,” the Kyiv-based human rights lawyer said. A durable settlement must include Nato-like guarantees for Ukraine, she added.

Matviichuk is the head of the Ukrainian Center for Civil Liberties, which was jointly awarded the Nobel peace prize in 2022, and she has been influential in arguing that Russia has developed a “genocidal character” because the international community has not restrained it enough.

Maybe retribution for some…but others are guilty of crimes NO public official of either party should ever be allowed to do…we’ll see…

Trump’s campaign of retribution:

At least 470 targets and counting

Reuters documented at least 470 targets of retribution under Trump’s leadership – from federal employees and prosecutors to universities and media outlets. The list illuminates the sweeping effort by the president and his administration to punish dissent and reshape the government.

By PETER EISLER, NED PARKER, LINDA SO and JOSEPH TANFANI Filed Nov. 26, 2025, 11 a.m. GMT

In his second term, Donald Trump has turned a campaign pledge to punish political opponents into a guiding principle of governance.

What began as a provocative rallying cry in March 2023 – “I am your retribution” – has hardened into a sweeping campaign of retaliation against perceived enemies, reshaping federal policy, staffing and law enforcement.

A tally by Reuters reveals the scale: At least 470 people, organizations and institutions have been targeted for retribution since Trump took office – an average of more than one a day. Some were singled out for punishment; others swept up in broader purges of perceived enemies. The count excludes foreign individuals, institutions and governments, as well as federal employees dismissed as part of force reductions.

The Trump vengeance campaign fuses personal vendettas with a drive for cultural and political dominance, Reuters found. His administration has wielded executive power to punish perceived foes – firing prosecutors who investigated his bid to overturn the 2020 election, ordering punishments of media organizations seen as hostile, penalizing law firms tied to opponents, and sidelining civil servants who question his policies. Many of those actions face legal challenges.

At the same time, Trump and his appointees have used the government to enforce ideology: ousting military leaders deemed “woke,” slashing funds for cultural institutions held to be divisive, and freezing research grants to universities that embraced diversity initiatives.

Democrats for Sedition

Proposing a real life ‘Seven Days in May’?

In the long ago of my teenage youth (no, not yesterday), I had a book report assignment due in my 8th-grade English class.

My choice of books was the then-bestseller of the moment — a book that was getting so many real-life headlines that two years later, there was the inevitable Hollywood movie, replete with a cast of the then-A-list stars of the day.

The book I chose was a then-bestselling political thriller: Seven Days in May.

Spoiler alert.

The story revolves around a liberal president, Jordan Lyman (played by Fredric March), who has signed a highly controversial nuclear disarmament treaty with the Soviet Union. The president’s decision has drawn huge controversy, replete with protests around the country descending into violence…

…Safe to say, one suspects lots of Americans have had it with this business of Democrats threatening the government because they don’t like the winner of the last presidential election. Were these people elected? Yes. But so too was President Trump.

And it is simply dangerous for elected officials to threaten the elected president of the United States by telling the honorable men and women in the American military and intelligence communities that obeying a presidential order is illegal or worse, criminal.

This is clearly a seditious summons for the military to disobey a constitutional presidential order issued by the constitutionally protected president.

Liberal activist judges are waging war against Trump

Never in our republic’s history have we witnessed biased, activist judges so deliberately circumvent the will of the American people to systematically delay — or outright destroy — the policies of a democratically elected president.

We all have biases, of course. But true leadership is displayed by those willing to ignore those biases and act for the greater good of the majority. Judges should recognize that solemn responsibility more than most.

Recently, a group of former federal judges went out of their way to criticize Todd Blanche, the deputy attorney general, for daring to call out the “activist judges” across the nation seeking to impede multiple executive orders and policies from President Trump. “It is a war,” Blanche said, “and it is something we will not win unless we keep on fighting.”

In a rather Shakespearian moment, the judges going after Blanche seemed to take exception to him using the word “war.” They went so far as to write that this type of rhetoric, “especially when voiced by high-ranking officials, not only endangers individual judges and court staff, but also undermines the public’s trust in the judiciary as an impartial and co-equal branch of government.”

I can only wonder if these same judges have been bothered over the last 10 years as Trump was repeatedly and viciously compared to “Hitler,” “Mussolini,” a “dictator” or an “dangerous authoritarian.” You know — the kind of irresponsible, dehumanizing, hate-filled, ideologically fueled rhetoric that might trigger an already damaged mind to try to assassinate a public figure reviled by their side.

Poll: Majority of Americans still support legal immigration

A majority of Americans say that legal immigration is good for the United States, according to a new poll commissioned by The Center Square.

The poll, conducted by RMG Research in conjunction with Napolitan News Service, surveyed 1,000 registered voters across the country between Nov. 12-13. It found that 67% of registered voters said “legal immigration is good for the United States, but illegal immigration is bad.”

As few as 17% of respondents said both legal and illegal immigration are bad, whereas 10% said all immigration is good for the country.

The poll marks a decline in support for legal immigration from Napolitan’s Aug. 21 poll, which found 74% of registered voters said “legal immigration is good for the United States, but illegal immigration is bad.”

Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research and founder of Napolitan News Service, said this continued trend follows the public’s overall mood toward both legal and illegal immigration.

Rasmussen Poll: 51% of Young Voters Back Democratic Socialist for ’28

A new Rasmussen Reports and Heartland Institute poll found that a slim majority of likely voters ages 18 to 39 want a democratic socialist to win the 2028 presidential election.

The survey of 1,496 likely voters showed 51% favored a democratic socialist victory, while 36% said they opposed that outcome and 17% were unsure.

The survey was conducted from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.

Among young Democrats, support for a democratic socialist president stood at 82%. Among young Republicans, 65% opposed the idea.

Independents were split, with 37% supporting and 31% opposing.

The underlying data shows a complex picture.
