“It’s not perfect, but given the political realities of no bipartisan support, we urge Republicans to unite and pass ‘The One, Big Beautiful Bill’,” said Saul Anuzis, President of the American Association of Senior Citizens.

“It’s a win for seniors across the country,” said Jim Martin, Founder and Chairman of the 60 Plus Association.  “The President and House Republicans are providing much needed tax relief to middle and low-income seniors,” continued Martin.

Key Provision affecting America’s seniors include:

— It provides historic tax relief to Social Security recipients. It ensures middle- and low-income seniors can deduct an additional $4,000 in Social Security payments.

— It delivers PERMANENT tax cuts and bigger paychecks. This means an extra $5,000 in Americans’ pockets with a DOUBLE-DIGIT percent DECREASE to their tax bills. Americans earning between $30,000 and $80,000 will pay around 15% less in taxes.

— It includes NO TAX ON TIPS and NO TAX ON OVERTIME. This makes good on two of President Trump’s cornerstone campaign promises and benefits hardworking Americans where they need it the most — their paychecks.

— It protects Medicaid for Americans by removing 1.4 million illegals.

“There is still more work that needs to be done,” said Martin.  “We need more conservatives in Congress willing to do the right thing.”

“Unfortunately, our children and grandchildren will inherit the runaway spending and budget deficit,” said Anuzis.  “Let’s be practical and take what we can get while fighting to elect more conservatives in Congress.”
