NEW YORK – The 60 Plus Association, nationally recognized as the conservative alternative to the liberal AARP, today launched new television and web ads in New York’s 20th Congressional District that target Scott Murphy’s record.

“Seniors have a message for Scott Murphy:  We are upset about ObamaCare, we are worried about the $500 billion cut it made to Medicare, and most importantly, we vote,” said Jim Martin, Chairman of 60 Plus.  “For too long, legislators in Washington have acted as if they were not accountable to voters.  That notion was wrong, and now, those who ignored their constituents when voting for damaging bills like the Obama/Pelosi health care disaster will be held accountable at the ballot box.”

The 30-second television ad will air throughout the district beginning on September 16.  A full transcript of the television ad can be found below or a video of the ad can be found by clicking here .
