Biden’s State of the Union: Embarrassing. He came off like an angry old man yelling at the neighbors about who knows what.
If you were hoping for the angriest, loudest, most partisan, and unhinged State of the Union address you have ever witnessed in your lifetime…all you had to do was tune in to any 5 minutes of his address.
Biden was obsessed with his political rival much more than he was obsessed with the condition of the American people. Forget the open borders, national crime spree, forget higher prices and inflation, forget the fentanyl crisis his policies have facilitated. This was a loud and weird State of the Union address. The President lectures us on unity while he gives the most partisan convention style speech ever heard from that podium.
At least he did a pretty good job of reading off his tele-prompter…it could have been worse.
Biden vs Trump…it’s a re-match: Trump & Biden are now the presumptive nominees of their respective parties. Elections have consequences, so compare their policies to determine who better represents your values and who will be better for the United States.
Biden…he and the Democrats support open borders and have encouraged millions of illegal immigrants to flood our cities.
Trump…wants to build a wall, encourage legal immigration, and deport illegal immigrants, particularly those who have committed a crime.
A few facts:
Biden revoked Trump’s immigration enforcement orders on day one of his presidency.
Biden terminated the national emergency declaration used to fund the border wall.
Biden deferred the removal of certain illegal immigrants.
Biden funnels money to non-profits that smuggle illegals across the country.
Biden secretly flew hundreds of thousands of illegals across the country to destinations unknown!
Biden…has pushed “woke” policies that allow young men to play in women’s sports, young men to use girls’ bathrooms, and children to engage in transgender experiments without their parent’s knowledge or consent.
Trump…believes in science. Supports Title IX to support girls to play in girl sports, has no confusion as to gender, and believes that parents have the right to take care of their children versus activists in schools and left wing NGOs.
Biden…claims to be “protecting democracy” while they weaponize the legal system and go after President Trump…the best is this “insurrection” B.S.
Just a few facts:
Trump has never been charged as an insurrectionist.
Trump has never been convicted of insurrection.
Trump never committed an insurrection.
Trump stated openly and on social media for folks to go peacefully…the constant and shameless misinformation and lies are the real crimes committed by partisans.

Fact-Checking Biden’s State of the Union Address
President Joe Biden delivered his 2024 State of the Union address in the House Chamber of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday night.
During the 67-minute speech, frequently interrupted by applause from fellow Democrat senators and members of Congress, Biden spoke on a wide range of issues, from border security and the economy to abortion and foreign policies relating to Israel and Ukraine.
The president made numerous claims, many of them contentious and sharply partisan. The Daily Signal fact-checked many of those claims to assess whether they were truthful and accurate.
The State of The Union: Biden V. Trump
Over the last forty years, the State of the Union has diminished in importance. This isn’t the fault of any one president as much as the advent of television, which turned it from a moment for serious statecraft into entertainment.
Joe Biden did nothing Thursday to change that. Since Woodrow Wilson revived the tradition of delivering the message in person to the members of the House and Senate, the presidents of the 20th and 21st centuries have used it to set the agenda for the year.
Biden used it to set the agenda for the campaign. He began his speech with a not-so-subtle allusion to the forces of the political opposition being the equivalent of the slave-owning, secessionist South, Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy, and Nazi Germany.
He may have couched his remarks on the need to combat Vladimir Putin’s aggression in Ukraine. Still, the meaning should be clear: the values held by the people who support Donald Trump are un-American. Some people, no doubt, will find that offensive.
His predecessor, Donald Trump, has put the nation and the world at risk, Biden seemed to say, by refusing to stand up to Putin. “I will not bow down,” he said before launching into another denunciation of the actions by protestors on January 6, 2021, when Trump supporters entered the U.S. capitol with the intent of stopping Congress from counting the ballots of the electors to determine who the next president of the United States would be.

Trump Calls Out Biden on Weaponizing Government: Fight for Yourself
Speaking from his Mar-a-Lago estate Monday, former President Donald Trump called on President Joe Biden to stop using the government to fight his political battles for him.
“President Biden, number one, stop weaponization. Fight, your fight, yourself. Don’t use prosecutors and judges to go after your opponent to try and damage your opponent so you can win an election,” Trump said. “Our country is much bigger than that.”
“I’m lucky that I’m able explain it to the public because if you weren’t able to explain it, the public wouldn’t know. They believe what they see,” he continued.
Trump Ramps Up Black Male Voter Outreach In Crucial Swing States Amid Biden’s Declining Support
Former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is ramping up its efforts to target black male voters in crucial swing states, The Washington Post reported.
The former president has been making gains with black voters as President Joe Biden has been hemorrhaging support, polls have shown. Trump’s campaign will likely focus on black men who own guns and frequently attend church in order to grow his base, advisers told the Post, who were granted anonymity to characterize private conversations.
Trump has considered several black men as possible vice presidential picks, such as Republican Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson, individuals who have spoken to Trump told the Post. The campaign reportedly may also attempt to convince voters to stay home as opposed to voting for Biden.
Trump appeared at Philadelphia’s “Sneaker Con”in February to engage with young voters and launch a line of Trump-branded sneakers called the Never Surrender High-Tops. Although he received some hostile reactions, Trump may do more similar events, campaign advisers told the Post…
…“This is part of Donald Trump’s path to victory; this is why he’s leaning in so hard,” Democratic polling and analysis firm HIT Strategies CEO Terrance Woodbury told the Post. “There’s about 32 percent of the Black electorate that’s just cynical, frustrated, closest to the pain, and that voter doesn’t like Democrats or Republicans. They feel like they’ve been failed by both sides and they’ve been failed by a system. And that’s a part of Donald Trump’s ‘the system is broken’ message that appeals to them.”
Laken Riley’s Alleged Killer Linked to Deadly Venezuelan Gang
The migrant charged with murdering Georgia nursing student Laken Riley crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and was not required to contact authorities for two years despite being linked to a deadly Venezuelan gang, the New York Post reported.
Jose Ibarra, 26, was arrested by Customs and Border Protection on Sept. 8, 2022, after he unlawfully entered the country near El Paso, Texas, CBS News reported.
The New York Post reported Friday that Ibarra was released on parole in less than 24 hours due to lack of detention capacity, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) records.
He was released pending a review of his immigration case, which the Post said was set originally for Oct. 24, 2024. However, ICE in New York rescheduled Ibarra’s appointment to December 13, 2024.
Authorities now say Ibarra is a member of the deadly Tren de Aragua gang, the Post reported.
Government Admission: Biden Parole Flights Create Security ‘Vulnerabilities’ at U.S. Airports
Thanks to an ongoing Center for Immigration Studies Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, the public now knows that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has approved secretive flights that last year alone ferried hundreds of thousands of inadmissible aliens from foreign airports into some 43 American ones over the past year, all pre-approved on a cell phone app. (See links to prior CIS reports at the end of this post.)
The Biden administration’s legally dubious program to fly inadmissible aliens over the border and directly to U.S. airports has allegedly created law enforcement vulnerabilities too grave to release publicly.
But while large immigrant-receiving cities and media lay blame for the influx on Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s busing program, CBP has withheld from the Center – and apparently will not disclose – the names of the 43 U.S. airports that have received 320,000 inadmissible aliens from January through December 2023, nor the foreign airports from which they departed. The agency’s lawyers have cited a general “law enforcement exception” without elaborating – until recently – on how releasing airport locations would harm public safety beyond citing “the sensitivity of the information.”
Now, though, CIS’s litigation has yielded a novel and newsworthy answer from the government: The public can’t know the receiving airports because those hundreds of thousands of CBP-authorized arrivals have created such “operational vulnerabilities” at airports that “bad actors” could undermine law enforcement efforts to “secure the United States border” if they knew the volume of CBP One traffic processed at each port of entry.

The next Democratic Senate will nuke the filibuster
If you are wondering when the next destructive salvo against the norms in Congress will be launched, we know it will be the next time Democrats win a Senate majority, which could be as soon as next year.
Senate Democrats have spent the last several years chomping at the bit to eliminate the legislative filibuster as they complain that institutional limits won’t let them do whatever they want. This follows Senate Democrats eliminating the filibuster for judicial nominations and precedes the next likely power grab attempt of packing the Supreme Court.
Senate Democrats have had only a slim majority though, meaning they needed everyone on board in order to pursue this goal. Sens. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) were not on board, depriving them of two votes and leaving just 48 Senate Democrats ready to nuke the filibuster.
That won’t be the case the next time Democrats win a Senate majority. Manchin let President Joe Biden burn his credibility in West Virginia and decided not to run for reelection, seeing the writing on the wall for a 2024 loss. Sinema, who is being chased out of the party by Democrats, announced on Tuesday that she would also not be running for reelection. Rep. Ruben Gallego, the Democrat running to replace her and the favorite over GOP candidate Kari Lake, is already in favor of nuking the filibuster.
Biden Wants Congress to Pass a “Border Security” Bill…Guess Which One?!?
