Fighting the Crazy Left – Liberal Secret Dark Money Buys Biden Presidency?!?

Anonymous donors poured record amounts of money into groups backing President Joe Biden in the 2020 contest, leaving the public without a full accounting of who helped him win the White House.

Biden’s presidential bid attracted around $174 million in support from anonymous donors, more than six times the $25.2 million in dark money contributions and spending boosting President Donald Trump’s unsuccessful re-election effort.”

Republicans Fighting Back: The partisan agenda of Biden/Pelosi/Schumer has galvanized Congress and America.

As liberal progressive Democrats push their out of the mainstream policies of open borders, defunding the police, bailing out Democratic states, cancel culture, higher taxes, and limiting free speech…Republicans are fighting back.

Congressional Republicans in the House and the Senate have demanded that we secure our borders, fund police, defend free speech, stop allowing biological men to compete in girls’ sports, stop illegal immigration (and the crisis on our southern border) as well as fight the Democrats purely partisan approach to governing.

Make no mistake about it, the Democrats are NOT willing or even trying to work with Republicans. There is no offer for compromise, there is no search for a middle ground. Rather, the Democrats strategy is an all or nothing list of radical policies Republicans and conservative have NO alternative but to fight.

From their “quote un-quote” effort of election reform to budget busting bailouts for political cronies to open borders…the Democrats are showing their true colors. And let’s not forget that the liberal biased so called “mainstream media” is spinning on behalf of their progressive, liberal allies. It’s disgusting!

Republicans and Conservative have to stand up and fight…because there are no other viable alternatives. The looney left is in control and are pushing policies Main Street America does NOT agree with. Democrats, Independents or Republicans in most of America are seeing what progressive Democratic control means…and it isn’t pretty!

Liberal Progressive Secret Dark Money: It’s outrageous. The sanctimonious and hypocritical position liberal Democrats take about “dark money” while buying Biden’s presidency is nothing short of outrageous.

They can and do say anything…stretching the truth at best and engaging in questionable campaign tactics while blaming Republicans. They are following Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” to the letter.

This is NOT our parent’s Democratic party.

Balance Budget Amendment: With Congress and the White House in the hands of progressive liberals, now more than ever we have to complete the effort to call for an Article 5 Constitutional Convention to pass a Balance Budget Amendment.

Join the effort at with the BBA Task Force which explains: The U.S. national debt ($24.6 trillion) is now 7 times federal revenue ($3.6 trillion), a serious imbalance that will cost us over $600 billion (16.5% of federal revenue) in 2020. We’ve already seen a $1 trillion spike in the 2020 deficit in just the last month as the Corona-virus stimulus starts to add up. It is hard to calculate where we will be at the end of the year, but the one thing we can say for certain is that it will be on for the record books.

The root cause of the problem was best explained by the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee when it concluded, “the many statutory constraints enacted over the years to control spending failed because no Congress can bind a succeeding Congress by simple statute.” Therefore, only a balanced budget amendment (BBA) will do. Given Congress’ 75-year failure to propose a BBA, the states must do so by calling an Article V convention.

Join this fight to get a Balance Budget Amendment and it will be much less important as to what political party controls Congress.

Age Group Patterns Explain GOP’s Popular Vote Losses

At last, and shown below, is some good news for Republicans. The 65-plus age group is increasing in number and will continue to grow when the youngest of the 1946-to-1964-born baby boom generation reaches age 65 in 2029. Seniors traditionally are the most loyal Republican voters. In 2020, 65-plus were 22% of voters while only 17% of the U.S. population, meaning seniors are “fighting above their weight” by five percentage points.

2020: Biden 47% – Trump 52% (22%)

2016: Clinton 45% – Trump 52% (16%)

2012: Obama 44% – Romney 56% (16%)

2008: Obama 45% – McCain 53% (16%)

Republicans won seniors with an average marginal difference of eight percentage points in the last 16 years. Again, not good enough for the GOP to win the popular vote. Trump won 65-plus voters but did not increase his winning percentage from 2016. Meanwhile, Biden increased the losing margin by two percentage points over Hillary Clinton in 2016, giving him an edge to win in states such as Arizona and the Rust Belt with their large concentration of older white voters.

America’s Emerging One-Party State

Like China’s Communists, American progressives aspire to build a more perfect one-party state.

The principle of “democratic centralism” was articulated by Vladimir Lenin soon after the Russian Revolution, as a way to reconcile the Communist Party’s aspirations to both deliberation and total control. Centralization of power quickly won out, making a dystopian farce of democratic procedures.

That system has survived in China to the present day. As the website of the Chinese mission to the United Nations in Geneva proclaims, “democratic centralism is the fundamental principle of organization and leadership of state power in China.” In practice, that means that the Chinese Communist Party controls everything, even in the modern era of mass media and frenetic economic activity. As a Congressional Research Service report explains, “the media, big business, research institutes, university academics, associations, and grassroots non-governmental organizations” all contribute to political discourse but always in support of the political monopoly of the Communist Party.

In America, progressives have never consciously sought a one-party dictatorship. They have always seen themselves as fighting for the “little guy.” But in their zeal to help that little guy, they have often seen the Constitution’s limits on government power as obstacles to be circumvented or removed. In order to give effect to what they see as the “will of the people,” progressives have relentlessly sought the expansion and centralization of government power.

H.R. 1 is Nothing But a Massive Democrat Power Grab

The unAmerican Left, which has subsumed the Democratic Party, is making a massive power grab with H.R. 1.

ot content with the rigging and manipulation of the 2020 election, or the “fortifying” of it as some leftists have described it, the Democrats are prepared to codify, and are aggressively pushing to codify, the corruption we saw play out in 2020 through H.R. 1.

Now, mind you, this is House Resolution 1 because the very first bill that Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) offered in the new session was this attempt at election rigging. Just so we’re absolutely clear: her biggest priority in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis is not helping Americans or small businesses, but making sure to codify corruption. She even gave it the Orwellian title of the “For the People Act.” What it should be titled is “How to Effect One-Party Rule in America.”

To put it mildly, it is a mind-blowing, brazen attempt by Pelosi and the Democrats to annihilate free and fair elections and place the Republican Party in permanent minority status. Republican attorneys recently echoed the fears of many when they said that, “It is difficult to imagine a legislative proposal more threatening to election integrity and voter confidence [than H.R. 1].”

That perfectly sums up what this bill entails. Photo IDs? Gone. Clean voter rolls? Don’t be ridiculous. Why would any good-hearted person want to take away people’s suffrage just because they happen to be dead?

‘Dark money’ topped $1 billion in 2020, largely boosting Democrats

March 15-21 is Sunshine Week, a national initiative celebrating open government and access to public records. Undisclosed spending by political actors undermines transparency and voters’ ability to make informed decisions.

The 2020 election saw more than $1 billion in “dark money” spending at the federal level, a massive sum driven by an explosion of secret donations boosting Democrats in a historically expensive cycle.

That’s according to an estimate from OpenSecrets. The billion-dollar sum includes a whopping $660 million in donations from opaque political nonprofits and shell companies to outside groups. In 2020, dark money groups preferred to bankroll closely-tied super PACs rather than spend the money themselves — politically active nonprofits that do not disclose their donors reported roughly $88 million in direct election spending to the Federal Election Commission. The remainder of the total is made up of spending on “issue ads” targeting candidates online and on the airwaves.

Democrats have consistently called for closing loopholes in campaign finance law that allow secret donors to bankroll pricey political ads. But that hasn’t stopped them from using secret funds to win elections. Of donations and spending reported to the FEC, liberal groups directed more than $514 million in dark money into the 2020 election, overshadowing around $200 million that boosted Republicans.

Our Pandemic Response: Fear Trumps Liberty

The next emergency—and it will come—will provide justification for stripping American citizens of even more of their rights and liberties.

Most Americans may not realize it, but we have been subjects of a vast sociological experiment over the past year. The last year may not have been intended as an experiment but it has illustrated some unpleasant truths about what Americans have become as a people, most importantly, that the citizens of a country who once proudly proclaimed the motto, “don’t tread on me” have been willing to endure a great deal of treading.

The experiment involved our response to COVID-19. What it proved was that Americans are all-too-willing to abandon their rights out of fear. The virus, of course, was real. But it became an excuse for unelected bureaucrats—our new priesthood of “experts”—and petty tyrant governors to impose arbitrary, one-size-fits-all restrictions, many of which the members of the priesthood did not follow themselves. As Rahm Emmanuel, former President Obama’s chief of staff and later mayor of Chicago infamously proclaimed in 2008, we should never let “a serious crisis go to waste…it’s an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

So what “things” did the pandemic allow government to do that no one thought it could do before? It used fear to shut down small businesses, wrecking the livelihoods of American workers; outlawed church and synagogue services; outlawed family gatherings; curtailed travel; shuttered schools and colleges. It did all these things in the name of “science” although scientists disagreed among themselves about the efficacy of the measures the government imposed.

Tyrannical governors also used the pandemic as a way of turning Americans against one another, inviting them to inform on their fellow citizens if they believed others were not following the “rules.” Such actions have put us on a dangerous path: toward becoming a surveillance state like Communist East Germany, as portrayed in the film, “The Lives of Others.” Those who think this is a good idea might want to watch, or re-watch, that remarkable movie.

Biden Faces Backlash After ‘Humiliating’ China Meeting: ‘Incredible Incompetence,’ ‘Biden Is Weak’

Democrat President Joe Biden faced significant backlash on Friday following a meeting that his administration had with Chinese communist officials on U.S. soil, a meeting that was widely panned as tense, chaotic, and disastrous.

The meeting in Alaska came at the request of the Biden administration and was their attempt at trying to restart bilateral relations with China. Instead, after addressing some issues that the administration had with China, China openly mocked and attacked the U.S.

Chinese officials told Biden’s administration that the U.S. “does not have the qualification to say that it wants to speak to China from a position of strength” and that “whether judged by population scale or the trend of the world, the Western world does not represent the global public opinion.”

China analyst Gordon Chang responded to the meeting by saying that China did “not come to Alaska to talk to the Biden administration.”

“They came to dictate,” Chang said. “China’s arrogant and insecure leaders are at their most dangerous. Deterrence is failing. Biden’s most urgent task is to reestablish it.”

Biden administration muzzles border officials amid surge of migrants

Biden Homeland Security officials have muzzled spokespersons and top officials at the Customs and Border Protection agency from speaking with the media about the situation on the border, according to two CBP officials.

The silencing comes after a relative openness under the Trump administration, when the White House focused its messaging on immigration and encouraged agency officials to talk.

New orders not to veer from approved messaging and statements are limiting CBP communications about the influx of migrants at the southern border. The agency oversees the Border Patrol, as well as officers who work at land crossings.

Both senior CBP employees told the Washington Examiner that requests to tour the border are being denied, in part, due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the “ride-alongs” to see new border wall projects and arrests of people who have been caught by the Border Patrol had continued, albeit to a smaller extent, through late 2020, including an October visit with CBP officials in all four southern border states.

Officials have been placed under a sort of “gag order,” and they said they were told verbally not to communicate with media beyond statements approved from the top, the officials said.

Poll: 75% Support Voter ID Law, Including 60% of Democrats

A new poll set to be released Wednesday by Rasmussen Reports indicates that 75% of Americans support voter ID laws that require voters to show photo identification before voting — including 60% of Democrats. Only 21% oppose such laws.

Democrats are currently pursuing federal legislation to override state voter ID laws. H.R. 1, the so-called “For the People Act,” has already passed the Democrat-controlled House and will soon be introduced in the Senate.

Many Democrats are calling for the filibuster to eliminated or reformed so that H.R. 1 can pass by a simple majority vote, ending voter ID.

How tech workers feel about China, AI and Big Tech’s tremendous power

Big Tech executives do a lot of talking. On their platforms, in interviews and on Capitol Hill. But Silicon Valley’s uber-rich and powerful CEOs don’t speak for the whole tech industry or even their own employees, who are increasingly finding themselves at odds with their companies’ most senior leadership.

To take a pulse of where tech employees across the country stand on key issues facing the industry, Protocol is introducing its first Tech Employee Survey, a survey of 1,578 employees nationwide, from C-suite level executives to associates. They hail mostly from large tech companies — almost 40% of respondents work at companies with annual revenue over $500 million and most of the companies have more than 1,000 employees.

We asked about a range of issues, from the threat posed by China to whether Big Tech should be broken up, to see how their answers align with or diverge from the industry party line.

Here’s what we found:

A Close-Up Picture of Partisan Segregation, Among 180 Million Voters

The broad outlines of America’s partisan divides are visible on any national map. Republicans typically dominate in most Southern and Plains states, and Democrats in Northeastern and West Coast ones. Democrats cluster in urban America, Republicans in more rural places.

But keep zooming in — say, to the level of individual addresses for 180 million registered voters — and this pattern keeps repeating itself: within metro areas, within counties and cities, even within parts of the same city.

Democrats and Republicans live apart from each other, down to the neighborhood, to a degree that raises provocative questions about how closely lifestyle preferences have become aligned with politics and how even neighbors may influence one another.

As new research has found, it’s not just that many voters live in neighborhoods with few members of the opposite party; it’s that nearly all American voters live in communities where they are less likely to encounter people with opposing politics than we’d expect. That means, for example, that in a neighborhood where Democrats make up 60 percent of the voters, only 50 percent of a Republican’s nearest neighbors might be Democrats.

Democrats and Republicans are effectively segregated from each other, to varying degrees by place, according to the Harvard researchers Jacob Brown and Ryan Enos. And at least over the past decade, they believe this partisan segregation has been growing more pronounced.

Seniors need access to telemedicine services, frivolous litigation could block it

The United States has reached the grim milestone of half a million deaths caused by COVID-19. Seniors, Americans 65 and older, have accounted for 8 out of 10 of those lost lives.

Without telemedicine that toll could have been even greater, making it especially important that seniors’ access to technology is protected from self-serving, profit-motivated corporate litigation.

Telemedicine services, which depend on high-speed broadband, have literally been a lifesaver during the pandemic. By using their smartphones, tablets or computers to handle their health care issues, seniors have been able to manage conditions, get advice from experts, or even receive virtual care without running the risk of possible virus exposure in a medical facility.

A July 2020 survey found a 300% increase in Medicare-eligible seniors using telemedicine services during the pandemic. Three out of four seniors used online resources to research Medicare options. One-third of seniors ordered their prescriptions from online pharmacies and 28% monitored their health with wearable devices, keeping themselves healthier without leaving home.

Seniors have fully embraced high-tech devices. The same survey indicated that 89% of seniors own a smartphone and 68% have an iPad or other type of tablet. Anything that impedes access to those devices directly impacts seniors. Especially now, as we appear to still be months away from beating the pandemic, it is crucial that nothing stands between seniors and technology.
