National Seniors group announces promotion of Apryl Marie Fogel to lead expansion plans

(Alexandria, Virginia) –  60 Plus Association President and Founder Jim Martin today announced appointment of Apryl Marie Fogel as Vice President of Operations. There her primary focus will be a major expansion of the national efforts of 60 Plus, the acknowledged counter to the liberal AARP.

“Apryl Marie’s credentials on the national scene are well known to political insiders. Now it’s time for the rest of the Nation to learn of her extraordinary skills. I founded 60 Plus more than 20 years ago to give seniors another voice and we’ve been fortunate to have hired dedicated men and women to give the elderly another resource to rely on.

“For the past dozen years 60 Plus has been blessed with legendary entertainer Pat Boone as our National Spokesman. Pat and I do TV and radio talk shows but behind the scenes our efforts depend on a number of dedicated employees who bolster outreach to seniors across the country as well as working with Members of Congress.

“Apryl Marie’s success with Americans for Prosperity in Florida (where 60 Plus has a million like minded seniors on our rolls) preceded her rapid rise on Capitol Hill as Communications Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ). We secured her coalition building talents almost three years ago and 60 Plus has asked her to expand our outreach to seniors in key Districts and states,” Martin said, adding that 60 Plus presents pro-senior awards to lawmakers in both political parties.

Apryl Marie Fogel responded by saying, “First, I want to thank Jim Martin, Chairman of 60 Plus for putting his trust in me as I transition into this new role as Vice President of Operations. As the 2016 elections approach, seniors will be front and center in ensuring that we maintain conservative representation and policy making in both the executive and congressional branches. I am proud to be a part of the growing 60 Plus team and after two and a half years in the field to be given the opportunity to take an executive role working directly with Chairman Martin and our Board of Directors. Together, through a comprehensive reorganization of staff and resources we will expand all of our existing capabilities and network to make sure the voices and best interests of seniors are heard loud clear throughout our nation in every state and up to the nations capitol.

“The best is yet to come for the 60 Plus Association and I look forward to being a part of it.”
