“We are facing the most dangerous security environment in decades.”

Russia – Just Stop: This war can end tomorrow if Russia just respects international borders and stops invading neighboring countries. Easy and simple!!!
Putin’s arrogance and dreams of a past “Soviet Empire” have cost the Russians and Ukrainians millions of lives…all for NOTHING.
The former Russian Prime Minister confirmed Russia’s intentions this week when he said, “The Istanbul talks are not for striking a compromise peace on someone else’s delusional terms but for ensuring our swift victory and the complete destruction of the neo-Nazi regime.”
The Russians are NOT looking to make peace anytime soon.
Putin’s Russia should NOT be rewarded for being an illegal aggressor, war criminal, and bully.
IF we want to STOP this war, we have to STOP Russia… period.
Ukraine Has Re-Defined Warfare: Former Speaker Newt Gingrich shared some thoughts on the amazing attack Ukraine performed on the Russian Air Force. As he pointed out, this is going to “destroy all our traditional assumptions about warfare.”
Good thing the Ukrainians are on our side, and we and NATO can learn from their experience.
Newt continues, “We need a tough-minded, clear-eyed approach to understanding these changes, testing them, developing effective responses, and quickly adapting. Left to its own devices, the defense system will focus on preserving the old and hiding from reality.”
Read the article below… it’s a real eye-opener.
Judicial Arrogance: Can you believe the bravado of some judges? 130 retired judges just filed a brief urging a federal court to drop charges against corrupt Wisconsin judge Hannah Dugan. They claim her arrest undermines “centuries of precedent on judicial immunity.”
Just because they were elected or appointed as a judge, it doesn’t put them above the law. Particularly as the country has witnessed some judges break the law because they think they can.
Preserving the integrity of the courts is paramount. We the people MUST have faith in the courts as an honest broker, believe that justice is blind, and judges must put aside their political biases to the best of their ability.
A move like this is unbelievably arrogant and damaging to the integrity of the courts.

Do We Really Want Waste and Fraud in Medicaid?

When I watch politicians and interest groups rail against Medicaid reform, I wonder if they have any idea what they are saying.
Medicaid is an enormous program. It costs $914 billion a year – and rising. Americans paid $584 billion in federal taxes and $326 billion in state taxes to cover it in 2024 (including the Children’s Health Insurance Program). By the way, this total cost is up from $616 billion in 2018.
So, the Medicaid program has grown by 48 percent in six years. It is the third largest mandatory spending program – making up 9 percent of the federal budget. Medicaid is bigger than the entire defense budget.
Considering that 58 percent of Americans believe there is enough waste in the federal government to balance the federal budget without raising taxes, it is strange that politicians would claim the nearly $1 trillion Medicaid program is waste-free.
In fact, politicians who oppose any changes Medicaid are supporting payments to illegal immigrants, crooks, and single, capable adults who refuse to work.
Consider the major Medicaid reforms in the House-passed budget plan:
Indicted Milwaukee judge claims ‘absolute immunity’ in bid to dismiss obstruction charges

Indicted Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan believes she is shielded from prosecution in a federal case accusing her of obstructing the arrest of an illegal immigrant who was before her court, according to a filing submitted by her lawyers on Thursday.
Dugan was arrested in April and indicted by a federal grand jury earlier this month on obstruction charges for her alleged role in helping the migrant evade immigration authorities in her courthouse. The Milwaukee judge pleaded not guilty in the case set for trial on July 21.
Lawyers for Dugan are setting up the case to become an early test of the immunity standards the Supreme Court established with its 2024 decision, Trump v. United States, which established “presumptive immunity” for the president’s official acts and no immunity for unofficial acts.
Trump returns Pennsylvania steel to the backbone of America

Flanked by a sea of steelworkers dressed in their orange safety jackets and hard hats, President Donald Trump was given a hero’s welcome at the Mon Valley Irvin Works to mark the signing of the U.S. Steel-Nippon Steel deal, the largest investment in state history.
“With the help from patriots like you, we are going to produce our own metal, make our own energy, secure our own future, build our country, control our own destiny and we are once again going to put Pennsylvania steel into the backbone of America,” Trump said of the deal between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel that announced last Friday.
The deal to have a Japanese company purchase U.S. Steel has drawn bipartisan support across the state, from Pittsburgh’s Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA), to Braddock’s Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA). Gov. Josh Shapiro told the Washington Examiner in an interview on Wednesday that it was a “BFD” that Trump got this over the line.
Former President Joe Biden blocked the deal on national security grounds shortly before he left office.
Biden’s Autopen Tells All!

First came the shocking discovery courtesy of the Oversight Project that nearly every single document put out under President Joe Biden’s signature had been signed by an autopen. Now comes confirmation that Biden was mentally incapacitated his entire term. Both leave unanswered, “Who was really president? Who operated the autopen?”
We decided to go straight to the source. We tracked Biden’s autopen down to a Government Services Administration warehouse in Southeast Washington. Surprisingly, the autopen was eager to speak.
This interview has been edited for clarity.
TDS: First, sir, why are you willing to come forward?
OTTO: Please call me Otto. All I’m hearing in the news is “Biden’s autopen did this,” “Biden’s autopen did that.” I hate the thought that I’m being blamed for the actions and policies that resulted from my work. The gig was to mimic Mr. Joe’s signature. Blaming me is like crediting Seth Gillis’ Trump impersonation for Making America Great Again.
Jill Biden’s ‘work husband’ Anthony Bernal may have played a key role in covering up Joe’s cognitive decline

There are few doubts in the White House about Jill “Lady Macbeth” Biden’s role in covering up her husband’s cognitive deficits as she urged him to run for re-election.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt made that point crystal clear from the press room podium Thursday, saying the former first lady “needs to answer” for “lying to the American people” and “shielding her husband away from the cameras.”
For the normally circumspect Leavitt, it was a damning indictment.
“I think, frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what she saw in regards to her husband and when she saw and what she knew,” she told reporters at a White House briefing.
Jill Biden was ‘chief liar’ of the Biden White House: Joe Concha

The Washington Examiner’s Joe Concha pushed for “true accountability” from those involved in the cover-up of former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline, including the former first lady Jill Biden‘s role.
The recently released book, Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson, cites how the former first lady was one of her husband’s biggest proponents for his reelection bid, as well as one of the “chief deniers” of her husband’s cognitive decline. Concha, a senior writer for the Washington Examiner, suggested that the former first lady was actually the “chief liar” to the American public, noting that she knew the former president better than anyone else.
“She knew what was going on, going all the way back, guys, to 2019,” Concha explained on Fox News’s Fox & Friends First. “Again, watch the primary debates for that nomination in 2019. Joe Biden is not there, especially when you compare him to when he was vice president, especially when comparing him to 2012 when he debated Paul Ryan in the vice presidential debate. While he was obnoxious and kept interrupting him, he was sharp. That man did not exist even six years ago.”
Latest FBI Revelations Show The Mueller Special Counsel Was A Cover-Up, And Much More

Why the DOJ didn’t charge Nellie Ohr with lying to Congress is the least significant of the questions raised by last week’s release of the Washington Field Office’s EC.
The FBI’s electronic case management system, Sentinel, allows agents to hide the existence of relevant investigative reports from other authorized users of the federal database. And during the Russia collusion hoax, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team used that functionality to keep potentially relevant documents hidden from other FBI agents investigating whether a Fusion GPS contractor lied to Congress.
The significance of these two facts cannot be overstated: Now in question is whether the federal government complies with the constitutional mandate in criminal cases to provide defendants all material exculpatory and impeachment evidence as well as its discovery obligations in civil litigation; whether Special Counsel Durham’s office, the inspector general, and agents investigating the members of the Crossfire Hurricane team had access to all relevant information; whether the DOJ and FBI provided congressional oversight committees with requested (or subpoenaed) documents; and whether FOIA responses included all relevant documents to the press and public.
Medvedev says Russia seeks victory, not compromise, in talks with Ukraine

Senior Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday that the point of holding peace talks with Ukraine was to ensure a swift and complete Russian victory.
“The Istanbul talks are not for striking a compromise peace on someone else’s delusional terms but for ensuring our swift victory and the complete destruction of the neo-Nazi regime,” the hawkish deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council said on Telegram.
“That’s what the Russian Memorandum published yesterday is about.”
Medvedev was referring to a set of Russian demands presented to Ukraine at talks in Istanbul on Monday.
They included handing over more territory, becoming a neutral country, accepting limits on the size of the Ukrainian army and holding new parliamentary and presidential elections.
At the talks, which lasted only an hour, the two sides agreed on a new prisoner-of-war swap and an exchange of 12,000 dead soldiers, but not on the ceasefire that Ukraine and its allies are pressing Russia to accept.
E.U. Report Finds China Behind 80 Percent of Russia Sanctions Avoidance

The German Foreign Ministry has produced a report for the European Union (E.U.) found China was responsible for approximately 80 percent of attempts to circumvent sanctions against Russia.
The classified report has not been formally released to the public yet, but German newspapers and TV networks were able to see copies of it on Tuesday. They described the report as a summary of information that was presented to the E.U. Foreign Affairs Council at a meeting in Brussels on May 20.
The report found sanctions have damaged the Russian economy, and found “some success” at blocking exports of war material to Russia through a variety of third countries, including Armenia, Serbia, Uzbekistan, and India.
Ukraine’s Wake Up Call for America

Ukraine’s drone assault on the Russian Air Force was an astonishing success – and an enormous wakeup call the President, Congress, and the national security system need to take seriously.
In some ways, the drone attack reminded me of Israel’s complex pager and cell phone attack which crippled Hezbollah’s organization in Lebanon.
We are in a new world, with new dangers. Artificial intelligence, robotics, low-cost manufacturing, and long-range planning are going to destroy all our traditional assumptions about warfare.
China is, no doubt, studying all of this. It is the largest drone maker in the world and has 90 percent of the commercial drone market. It is estimated that China could produce 500,000 to 700,000 drones a month. Ukraine produced about 1.4 million drones in all of 2024.
Further, the Ukrainian attack inside Russia involved only 117 drones. A whole new pattern of warfare is clearly emerging.
We need to completely re-examine the consequences of the Chinese balloons that hovered over American military bases in 2023. In light of the Ukrainian operation, consider how much targeting information China potentially gathered thanks to the Biden administration’s timidity and incompetence.
On Congressional and Corporate Collusion with the PRC

Tax loopholes still let Chinese companies tap U.S. credits, exposing how Congress aids a hostile regime while claiming to defend national security.
s an American citizen and a Michigan resident opposed to communist China’s subnational incursions into our country, specifically, and the People’s Republic of China (PRC), generally, I was both heartened and saddened by Steve Cortes’s May 22nd American Greatness article, “Don’t Fund Chinese Companies in the Tax Bill.”
I was heartened because a strong proponent of American workers and religious freedom once more warned against the suicidal insanity of corporate and political elites economically empowering a genocidal communist regime engaged in unrestricted warfare against our nation with the express intent of destroying the “hegemon” and, further, the rules-based international order. So, too, Mr. Cortes did his part to help pierce the corporate media’s muted coverage of how my home state of Michigan is a regrettable example of American elites’ prioritizing corporate and government revenues over America’s national security.
Mr. Cortes begins by citing the strategic threats posed by the PRC’s access to our economy and government:
Liberal news outlet mocked for reporting on ‘mysterious’ drop in fentanyl flowing across border

The Washington Post reported that the drop in fentanyl crossing the border ‘represents something of a mystery.’
The Washington Post is being mocked online and by the White House for “pathetic” reporting on what the liberal-leaning news outlet calls a “mysterious” decline in fentanyl flowing across the border.
Fentanyl is a dangerous drug that is often trafficked into the United States across the southern and northern borders by cartels and other criminal elements. In 2024, fentanyl was linked to the death of 48,422 persons in the United States, according to the CDC.
During his campaign, President Donald Trump vowed to wage a war against fentanyl traffickers through increased border security and by cracking down on illegal immigration. Since taking office, Trump has deployed U.S. troops to the southern border, targeted cartels and transnational criminal groups as “foreign terrorist organizations” and hit cartel leaders with sanctions.
According to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), the U.S. law enforcement seizures of fentanyl, which the group explains is a “key indicator of broader total smuggling at and between the southern border’s ports of entry,” have dropped 50% since the November election. CIS states that this significant decline indicates a “greater decline in total fentanyl smuggling.”
The collapsing turnout of Democratic men

A warning for the party from the 2024 voter file data
The ground truth of electoral analysis is the voter file. We obsess over county and precinct results, since these are readily available in the days and weeks after the election, but individual vote history data recently made available can be more revealing about which demographic groups were motivated to vote.
The story told by the county data in the wake of the election painted a dismal picture for Democrats. Turnout was down compared to 2020 in blue areas while it surged in red areas, though this gap was more muted in battleground states. Individual vote history doesn’t debunk this, but it also shows that this largely was baked in going into the election cycle. Republican gains in voter registration and population growth in red states made it so that Republicans entered the 2024 election in a stronger position. On Election Day 2024, Republicans finally got to flex those muscles, resulting in the party’s first popular vote victory in 20 years.
