DC is Safer… Better: Just ask anyone living in the city. I moved to the neighborhood known as Capitol Hill. I primarily walk the city or take the metro. I won’t say I was often scared, but definitely cautious and conscious of my surroundings… with little to protect myself against a gang of thugs since my concealed weapons permit wasn’t reciprocal here and the replacement was burdensome enough that I decided against renewing. So, I store my guns and ammo in Virginia because of DC anti-gun laws.
Having said that… crime is down under President Trump’s initiatives. Statistically, we had the first murder-free week in years… what a sad thing to celebrate. Violent crime is down by 22%. The homeless are being put in homeless shelters or mental institutions as appropriate.
Yes, you feel SAFER walking the streets.
Yes, you feel SAFER taking the metro.
Yes, you thank local police officers and federal law enforcement with the National Guard for stepping up and helping bring DC back.
I wish it didn’t have to happen this way. But lenient judges and absurd soft on crime policies made this city dangerous. I’ve now had a chance to meet some of DC’s finest, and they too are frustrated because they feel their hands are tied and they are not allowed to do their job. And when they do… some liberal misguided judge releases criminals back onto the streets.
Paid protestors and professional liberal/progressive activists are desperately trying to spin a different storyline… but those of us who live here, are feeling it!

California Dreaming: The Democrats in California are dreaming… or really haven’t thought this through. The politically motivated gerrymandering is going to have some very real consequences for California… and not good:
- Loss of Republican majority Committee Chairmanship
- Loss of Republicans on key Committees to help California on many issues
- Loss of influence of Congressional Member on legislation
- Loss of Republican allies and friends of President Trump
- Loss of bipartisan influence for the largest state in the country
These are real challenges. Real consequences the Democrats have not thought through. Not to mention the obvious partisan maneuvering that MOST people in America, whether they vote Republican or Democrat, don’t like.
A bad move that will backfire on the citizens of California thanks to Governor Newsom.

It is easy, just not simple. Russia just has to get out of Ukraine, and we have peace!

Average American to receive $3,752 tax cut in 2026 from Trump’s ‘Big Beautiful Bill:’ report says
The White House is touting a new economic analysis that estimates taxpayers will see an average $3,752 tax cut in 2026, due to provisions in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act.
According to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation report, taxpayers in every state will see reduced federal taxes next year and though there is “considerable geographic variation” in tax benefits.
“President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill is the largest, most consequential tax cut on the middle class ever,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said Friday. “Between lower inflation, massive investments, and historic tax cuts, all Americans are reaping the benefits of the Trump Economy – and the Golden Age has just begun.”
Republicans’ multitrillion-dollar OBBBA, among other things, made permanent the expiring 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act’s across-the-board reduced tax rates; $15,000 standard deduction; $2,000 Child Tax Credit; 20% QBI deduction for small businesses; and $750,000 home mortgage interest deduction cap.
Three key business tax credits were made permanent as well – full reimbursement for new capital investments like machinery and equipment, an expanded deduction for corporation’s interest on debt, and immediate deductions for companies’ research costs.

Though the groups are technically nonpartisan, the underlying assumption has been that most new voters registering would vote Democrat.”
But it’s Democrat strategist and member of the Democratic National Committee Maria Cardona who admits the underlying strategy of these supposedly non-partisan organizations: It was never about engaging voters; it was about engaging voters who would vote Democrat.
D.C. Violent Crime Drops 22% After Trump’s Crackdown; Zero Homicides in Last Week
Violent crime in Washington, DC, has dropped 22 percent over the last week following President Donald Trump’s crackdown in the city.
Fox News Digital’s David Marcus detailed the stunning findings, which include the fact that — as of Wednesday afternoon — there were no murders in the city over the last seven days. That is a feat that has not been seen for months — since March.
Marcus also cited a few other stunning statistics from the local police union, revealing that since Trump’s federal takeover, carjackings have dropped an astonishing 83 percent. Additionally, robbery has dropped 46 percent.
These statistics come over a week after President Donald Trump formally announced a series of executive actions to clean up the nation’s capital, which included invoking section 740 of the district of Columbia Home Rule Act, placing the DC Metropolitan Police Department under direct federal control, and activating the National Guard.

More than 19,500 Ukrainian children remain forcibly held by Russian authorities
The thousands of Ukrainian children abducted since Russia’s invasion began 3½ years ago are once again at the forefront of international discussions as NATO leaders convened to discuss the war.
Following Russia’s deadly 2022 invasion, Ukrainian children have been among the war’s chief victims, with Kyiv confirming that there have been at least 19,546 cases of unlawful deportation and forced transfer of Ukrainian children to Russia, Belarus or Russian-occupied territory, by Russian authorities.
Some reports have suggested the number of forcibly transported Ukrainian children could be significantly higher, ranging closer to 35,000 abductions, many of whom are feared to have been illegally adopted.
Fox News Digital could not confirm if NATO leaders, who convened on Wednesday for a debriefint by U.S. military leaders, will include how to remedy the immense human rights violations targeting Ukrainian children as they look to establish security guarantees, possibly as soon as this week.
A strong Ukraine is the only realistic security guarantee against Russia
Western leaders were in upbeat mood on Monday evening following their unprecedented White House summit with US President Donald Trump. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it had been his “best meeting” to date with the US leader. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer praised the talks as “good and productive,” while German Chancellor Friedrich Merz commented that the Washington DC gathering had “exceeded expectations.”
Despite this positive spin, the White House talks did not result in any specific steps toward peace in Ukraine. Instead, the meeting was primarily an opportunity for Ukraine, Europe, and the United States to demonstrate their unity in the aftermath of Trump’s recent summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The most significant outcome to emerge from Monday’s discussions was a commitment from Trump that the United States would contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine. The British PM, who has been pressing for a US role in security guarantees for months, hailed the news as a “breakthrough.” NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte shared Starmer’s enthusiasm, calling Trump’s willingness to participate in security guarantees a “big step.”
This congratulatory mood may have been somewhat premature. In reality, it remains far from clear exactly what kind of security commitments Trump has in mind. Hours after hosting the White House gathering, the US leader was already attempting to downplay expectations by offering his assurances that no American troops would be deployed to Ukraine.
