Russia & China do NOT belong in the Western Hemisphere… period.

Maduro: the only illegal alien Dems *don’t* want to bring to the US.

– Scott Jennings, CNN

The entire gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single phrase: ‘Hate whoever is better off than you’.

– Henry Hazlitt

It is painful to see how, especially in the West, the space for genuine freedom of expression is rapidly shrinking. At the same time, a new Orwellian-style language is developing which, in an attempt to be increasingly inclusive, ends up excluding those who do not conform to the ideologies that are fueling it.

– Pope Leo XIV

After the fall of communism, everybody in the world agreed that socialism was a failure. Everybody in the world, more or less, agreed that capitalism was a success. And every capitalist country in the world apparently deduced from that what the West needed was more socialism.

– Milton Friedman

Individualism, in contrast to socialism and all other forms of totalitarianism, is based on the respect of Christianity for the individual man and the belief that it is desirable that men should be free to develop their own individual gifts and bents.

– Friedrich Hayek

Venezuela & Maduro: He was NOT the elected President. Maduro was a tyrannicaldictator, narco-terrorist, and head of a leading drug cartel that was killing millions of Americans.

Maduro was NOT the legitimate leader, just a narco-terrorist thug running a criminal cartel, cozying up to Russia, Iran, and China right in our backyard. The United States has rightfully implemented the Monroe Doctrine, defending our interest in our hemisphere.

Ironically, when Hamas has issues a statement condemning the US for arresting Maduro and violating international law. When Hamas, the CCP, Russia, and the Democrats condemn you, you’re almost certainly doing the right thing.

Many will argue that the United States attacked and invaded Venezuela for oil. Others will claim it was under the banner of combating narco-trafficking.

But the deeper truth is far more strategic. Through this calculated geopolitical chess move, the Trump administration effectively decoupled the Western Hemisphere from the influence of Russia, China, and Iran.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio summed it up by saying: “The U.S. doesn’t need Venezuela’s oil—we have plenty. What we won’t allow is Venezuelan oil being controlled by China, Russia, or Iran. This is the Western Hemisphere, and we won’t let adversaries use it as a base of operations.

Greenland: I’m not too worried about all the hyperbole going around about Greenland and what might or might not happen. The reality is they are a peaceful neighbor and ally, and if there is a “deal” to be had, it might be interesting… but no one is attacking someone else.

However, if the President is channeling his inner memories of a George Orwell novel and envisioning “Oceania”… then it’s another story.😊

R.I.P. Congressman Doug LaMalfa: The sudden loss of Representative LaMalfa is a huge loss for California and our country. He was an honorable public servant and a staunch advocate for conservative values, his constituents, rural America, and senior citizens.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jill and their family.

Congressional Vacancies: As of January 6th, there are 5 vacant House seats, which gives Republicans a majority of 218 to 213:

·       Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R) passed away on Jan. 6, 2026, which leaves the California 1st District vacant

·       Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) resigned on Jan. 5, 2026. Within 10 days, Gov. Brian Kemp will announce the date for the special election for the Georgia 14th District

·       Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D) resigned on Nov. 20, 2025 to become Governor of New Jersey. The special election to fill the New Jersey 11th District seat will take place on April 16, 2026, with the Democratic Party’s primary scheduled for Feb. 5, 2026

·       Rep. Matt Van Epps (R) was elected in a Dec. 2, 2025 special election for the Tennessee 7th District vacancy created by the July 2025 resignation of Rep. Mark Green (R). Rep. Van Epps assumed office on Dec. 4th

·       The Texas 18th District remains vacant following the death of Rep. Sylvester Turner (D) in March 2025. A run-off special election is scheduled for Jan. 31, 2026

It Only Took A Couple Weeks For Dark Skies To Clear Up For GOP’s Future

The Republican Party has faced ongoing challenges in 2025, including economic pressures, immigration concerns, and criticism over inaction in Washington. Yet, under President Donald Trump’s leadership in early 2026, a renewed sense of optimism is emerging within the GOP.

New year, new party? Not exactly. While core issues like stagnant economy, border security, and bureaucratic gridlock persist, Trump’s decisive actions are creating momentum for progress and demonstrating the impact of strong leadership.

Take Venezuela as a prime example. U.S. forces conducted a successful operation, capturing former Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife and bringing them to the United States to face longstanding drug trafficking and narco-terrorism charges. This bold move removed a hostile regime, enhancing American national security by disrupting alliances with adversaries like Iran, Russia, and China, as well as narco-trafficking networks.

Economically, Trump’s move will deliver immediate gains. Venezuelan officials have agreed to supply the U.S. with 30 to 50 million barrels of oil at market prices, stabilizing energy markets, reducing dependence on unreliable sources, and helping lower gas prices for Americans. The intervention showcases a president who is decisively committed to protecting U.S. interests.

JD Vance’s battles for 2026 and 2028: Managing Trump and fighting history

You might have heard the quote describing the vice presidential office as “not worth a bucket of warm spit.” Credit John N. Garner, who was President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s vice president from 1933 to 1941.

That demeaning statement has proven both accurate and inaccurate, depending on the president’s relationship with the vice president, their skill set, experience, and political ambition. However, an untimely presidential death always hovers over the vice presidency, transforming that “spit bucket” into the seat of power.

Vice President JD Vance is 180 degrees removed from the bucket and widely considered the office’s most powerful occupant. In one year, at age 41, Vance has surpassed the overall influence of Vice President Dick Cheney during President George W. Bush’s tenure from 2001 to 2009.

The power and trust President Trump has bestowed on JD Vance is why he attracts megawatts of media attention. It began in August 2024, when the inexperienced junior senator from Ohio was unexpectedly tapped as Trump’s running mate. Presumably, because Vance was chosen as the “heir apparent” to the MAGA throne, he is a “developing” news story.

Trump Makes Big Move To Combat Spiking Home Prices, Takes Aim At Big Investors

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he plans to take executive action to stop “large institutional investors” from buying “single-family” homes in the United States.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the move comes as housing affordability remains a major concern for Americans, adding that he would like Congress to codify the policy into law.

“For a very long time, buying and owning a home was considered the pinnacle of the American Dream. It was the reward for working hard, and doing the right thing, but now, because of the Record High Inflation caused by Joe Biden and the Democrats in Congress, that American Dream is increasingly out of reach for far too many people, especially younger Americans,” he posted.

“It is for that reason, and much more, that I am immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors from buying more single-family homes, and I will be calling on Congress to codify it. People live in homes, not corporations. I will discuss this topic, including further Housing and Affordability proposals, and more, at my speech in Davos in two weeks,” he continued. The details of the plan are currently unknown.

Analysis: Why effective use of manpower will define who is winning the war in Ukraine in 2026

In a dimly-lit wooden bunker, a tall, formidably-built Ukrainian officer is filmed from behind, wishing his men good fortune one by one with firm handshakes before a mission.

The soldiers in question — a few dozen mobilized Ukrainian men mostly in their forties, each dressed in issued pixel fatigues and with a basic rifle by their sides — respond mostly without enthusiasm, looking forward with blank stares as they accept their commander’s greetings.

With context, this seemingly innocuous bit of military social media content, Ukraine’s 425th Assault Regiment, better known as Skelia, takes on a darker tone, illustrative of the country’s grim manpower situation as the fifth year of Russia’s full-scale war approaches.

Skelia is the poster child of Ukraine’s Assault Forces, a new branch of the military created in fall 2025 out of a handful of separate assault units known for their penchant for attacking at high intensity and their commanders’ loyalty to Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Over 2025, the regiment has gained attention as one of the military’s top “firefighter” units, responding rapidly across the front line to quickly localize and liquidate Russian breakthroughs.

But with that attention has also come notoriety for its reckless use of mobilized soldiers in costly assault operations, leading to consistently high losses, while standard mechanized brigades are starved of reinforcements.

Impeachment obsession returns as Democrats recycle lawfare to fire up their base

Democrats’ professed shock over the Venezuela operation is nothing short of comical from leaders who said nothing when Democratic presidents engaged in similar actions

“Are You Not Entertained?” With the country’s economy improving and other issues losing traction with the public, Democrats are increasingly turning to the one thing lacking in Washington: impeachment.

As they work to take back the House in the midterms, Democrats are again promising voters the equivalent of the Roman Games by restarting impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump. For many liberal voters, impeachment has become the thrilling cage match of lawfare.

Facing a challenger on the left in New York, Rep. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., was the latest to dangle impeachment before his constituents. He insisted that Trump can be removed for the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife.

The same people who introduced what I called an abusive “snap impeachment” against Trump are now suggesting that he can be impeached for an act that was previously upheld as lawful in the courts.

According to Goldman, the operation constitutes an undeclared war and is thus impeachable.

DeSantis calls April redistricting special session

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) announced on Wednesday that he will convene a special session of the Florida legislature in April to redistrict the state’s congressional map.

DeSantis entered the national mid-decade redistricting battle in December 2025, signaling he intended to redistrict, but would begin the process after the Supreme Court weighs in on race-based congressional districting laws. In his announcement, he said the special session will follow the Sunshine State’s regular legislative session.

“We are going to do it in the later part of April, partially because there’s a Supreme Court decision that’s going to affect the validity of some of these districts nationwide, including some of the districts in the state of Florida,” DeSantis said.

Florida Republicans have been pushing to redistrict the GOP stronghold since mid-2025, with state House Speaker Daniel Perez forming a select committee on redistricting in August. DeSantis urged GOP legislators, excited at the prospect of redistricting, they “can’t do it now.”

“I know there’s a lot of people that are excited in both the House and the Senate to be able to do it, so they’re going to get their chance to do it, but realistically, you can’t do it now. The Supreme Court hasn’t ruled, so we’ve got to give some time for that,” DeSantis said.

Schumer, Democrats face pressure to wage new shutdown fight

Congress is less than a month away from another potential government shutdown, and pressure is mounting on Democratic leaders to have another showdown with President Trump over health care costs and his aggressive use of executive authority.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer (N.Y.), however, is showing little appetite for another shutdown fight even as liberal colleagues in the Senate and House and grassroots activists spoil for a new battle with the president.

Many Democratic activists and voters vented their frustration when a group of seven Democratic senators and one independent voted to reopen the government in November without getting a significant concession from Republicans on health insurance premiums.

Enhanced subsidies under the Affordable Care Act expired at the end of 2025.

Supreme Court’s 2026 rulings could define America for decades to come

From birthright citizenship to climate lawfare and women’s sports, Supreme Court justices face essential questions

As the Supreme Court heads into the new year, its docket makes clear that the justices aren’t easing into a quiet second half of the term. This winter, we’ll get hearings in a series of cases that go to the core of federalism, equal protection, executive power and even the meaning of citizenship itself. And looming behind the argument calendar is the anticipation of major opinions — some of them likely to arrive well before the traditional end-of-June finale — that will shape the legal and political landscape for years to come.

The January calendar opens with Chevron v. Plaquemines Parish, a case the court should use to put an overdue stop to the abuse of state tort law as a weapon against nationally significant industries. At issue is whether energy companies sued by Louisiana parishes over decades-old oil-and-gas activity may remove those cases to federal court. That question may sound technical, but the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Local governments, backed by well-funded activist groups, have pursued environmental claims designed not to remedy concrete harms, but to use sympathetic state courts to impose sweeping policy change. Allowing such suits to proceed in venues hostile to manufacturers and producers invites inconsistent legal standards and massive verdicts untethered from federal policy. A ruling for Chevron wouldn’t immunize companies from accountability; it would prevent state courts from becoming shadow regulators of national energy policy.

The Day America Finally Closed the Book on the Iraq Wars

The objectives and purposes of both the 1991 and 2002 Iraq AUMFs have been achieved long ago.

Ending wars is a rare, extraordinary, and historically significant achievement.

By repealing two residual AUMFs, Congress is exercising its atrophied war powers muscles and reclaiming a modicum of the power it has ceded to the executive branch.

While many in the country debate whether President Donald Trump has the legal authority to use the military against narco-traffickers in international waters, Congress quietly signaled the end to two wars.

Right after the 84th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor that thrust the United States into World War II (WWII), Congress agreed to end two war authorizations in place since 1991 and used by six presidents starting with President George H.W. Bush.

Newsom Has His Own Massive State Fraud Problem

Tim Walz perp-walked himself out of the Minnesota governor’s race this past week, beset by evidence that fraudsters have plundered his state’s federally funded food, housing, daycare, and Medicaid programs. It’s “what has been described as the nation’s largest COVID-era scheme,” says Fox News, with the U.S. attorney in Minnesota estimating “the fraud could exceed $1 billion and rise to as high as $9 billion.”

The “nation’s largest COVID-era scheme”? Au contraire, California remains the leader in that category, a ranking the Golden State won’t give up easily. And the state’s fraud scandal could come back to haunt Governor Gavin Newsom as he gears up for an expected presidential run.

In a new report, California’s independent auditor says Newsom has still failed to fix vulnerabilities in the state’s unemployment insurance system six years after international crime gangs stole some $33 billion, including $20 billion in federal funds.

California’s Employment Development Division (EDD) “continues to be a high‑risk agency because of insufficient improvement in managing its UI [unemployment insurance] program,” the auditor found. The agency “continues to have high rates of improper UI payments, including fraudulent payments,” and “failed to meet acceptable levels in more than half of the measures on which the federal government evaluates its performance.”

“These inadequacies have resulted in a substantial risk of serious detriment to the state and its residents,” the auditor concludes.

Jon Stewart EXPOSES Mark Kelly’s BLATANT Hypocrisy — Urged Military to Defy Trump While Staying Silent on Obama’s Regime Killing American Citizens with Drone Strikes

Far-left comedian Jon Stewart openly confronted Democrat Senator Mark Kelly on The Daily Show, exposing the breathtaking hypocrisy at the core of today’s Democrat Party.

The controversy stems from a November 2025 video in which Kelly and five other Democratic lawmakers, all veterans or former intelligence officers, urged active-duty service members to refuse “illegal orders.”

The Pentagon, led by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and President Trump have characterized the video as “seditious.”

During the interview, Stewart pressed Kelly on whether recent U.S. military actions, including maritime strikes against drug-trafficking vessels, were actually illegal.

Kelly responded:

“It’s not complicated. If a reasonable person would think that this thing that they are asking me to do is illegal, you have an obligation. It’s not an option. You have an obligation not to follow those orders.”

But when Stewart asked the obvious follow-up, are these strikes actually illegal?, Kelly suddenly hedged.

Kelly admitted the government has a “complicated legal rationale,” reportedly spanning 40 pages, and conceded the legality is “questionable at best.”

Hillary Clinton Attacks President Trump with HUGE LIE About January 6 – So Trump Supporters Set Her Straight

Hillary Clinton on Tuesday launched an attack on President Trump and his supporters on the anniversary of the January 6 Capitol riot.

Clinton attacked Trump with the big lie that he urged his supporters to attack Congress.

“Five years ago today, Donald Trump urged his supporters to attack Congress and the Capitol over a proven lie. More than 140 police officers were injured,” Hillary said on X.

“Trump then pardoned the attackers,” she said.

“He betrayed his oath and his country, and we won’t ever forget it,” Hillary added.

Of course, this is a lie.

President Trump never urged his supporters to attack the Capitol.

Trump told his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically” protest on January 6, 2021.

The President sued the BBC for $10 billion for defamation after they edited his January 6 speech.

According to The Telegraph, an internal whistleblower memo revealed the BBC “doctored” Trump’s speech to make it sound like he was telling supporters to march over to the Capitol and “fight like hell.”

They have to lie about President Trump’s January 6 speech to make it appear he encouraged violence.

Trump supporters set her straight.
