The State of the Union is Strong – The Left is Fooling America – Watch New York City and Virginia

The state of our union is strong…our country is back, bigger and better than ever before!

– President Donald J. Trump

We will always protect Social Security and Medicare…always.

– President Donald J. Trump

In the past 9 months, ZERO illegal aliens have been admitted to the United States. But we will always allow people to come in legally, people that will love our country and will work hard to maintain our country.

– President Donald J. Trump

This July 4th, we will mark two and a half centuries of liberty and triumph, progress and freedom in the most incredible and exceptional nation ever to exist on the face of this earth—and you’ve seen nothing yet… this is the Golden Age of America.

– President Donald J. Trump

More than 80% of Americans agree that the United States is the greatest country in the history of mankind.

– Pollster Frank Luntz

Inflation, gas prices, and crime are going DOWN.

Paychecks and tax refunds are going UP.

In a little more than a year, Republicans are already DELIVERING on what was promised to the American people in 2024.

– Speaker Mike Johnson

Ever wonder why… the school systems don’t teach any real-life skills anymore?” “Because the moment a man becomes self-reliant, the system loses control.

– HHS Secretary RFK, Jr.

I don’t care about your opinion. Well, you’re part of the system. You’re part of the problem. You’ve been sitting here longer than I’ve even been alive.… You should have fixed this a long time ago.

– U.S. Senator Markwayne Mullin

I thank all the leaders who are in Ukraine and with Ukraine today, and who have supported Ukrainians throughout all these years of struggle. It is extremely important that we are all together today, speaking with one voice. Global unity is stronger than any of Russia’s alliances. And as long as we all stand firm, we will surely secure peace for a normal life for our people.

– Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine

A UN vote on a lasting peace in Ukraine and we abstained. Go figure. The Russian Federation was against the proclamation. Is not four years of war enough? Is not missing children, shelling of cities and the killing of innocents enough? It is not a business deal-it is war.

– General Keith Kellogg

Today I’m at the European Union Parliament sharing a simple truth about Putin’s war on Ukraine: this isn’t just about territory. It’s about restoring the old USSR mindset and rebuilding a Russian empire by force.

Supporting Ukraine is America First.

If we don’t stop Russia now by helping Ukraine win with the weapons they need and real security guarantees, we risk a future where we’re forced to stop Russia with American boots on the ground after Ukraine falls and the aggression moves next toward Poland, Moldova, and the Baltic States. That’s how NATO Article 5 gets triggered, and we are bound to honor it. Peace comes through strength, clarity, and courage.

– Pastor Mark Burns (early supporter of President Trump on one of his spiritual advisors)

Sate of the Union – Why I Support Trump: Can you just imagine the alternative? I have my disagreements with the President, but overall, America is safer, America is stronger, and America is economically better off because of the President’s leadership. His presidency will be the most transformational and consequential of my lifetime, if not ever.

I have friends who are passionate about Ukraine, MFN price controls, or tariff policy, amongst others, who ask, Then how can you support him?” Easy… because overall, he’s the right man, at the right time for the job!

I will continue to oppose and disagree with whatever policies I think he’s wrong on.

Ukraine… I think he is dead wrong here. His instincts are to negotiate peace with a tyrant and a liar who is a war criminal… virtually impossible. And I don’t think you give in to bullies and let the aggressor who violates every international norm win.

MFN Price Controls… I get the desire to get lower drug prices to Americans, especially seniors on fixed income. But at what cost? Foreign countries are willing to “play the system” and force the United State to fund the research and development that allows us to live longer, healthier and productive lives. There are better alternatives than price controls to lower the cost of medicine…see Trump RX, PBM reform, or 340B hospital pricing reform that have a far greater impact.

Tariffs… I’m not a big fan as a free trader. However, I think we want “fair trade” as well as “free trade” when it comes to defending American jobs, manufacturing, and national security. So, I have split feelings here.

There are other areas and examples as to what or how I would do things differently. Many criticize his “style” over substance. But it’s effective… and the DC “swamp” and “establishment” don’t know how to respond… he is shaking things up, I’m good with that.

On the policy front I agree with him 90%+ of the time. Yes, the disagreements are major and important… so we have to stand up and fight for what we believe in…all of us. By the way, when I say fight, I mean at the ballot box, not the streets of DC, Minneapolis, or Seattle.

We have “a republic, if you can keep it,” to borrow Benjamin Franklin’s famous phrase. The only country in the world that people are willing to risk their lives to come to… even if some are then willing to “bite the hand that feeds them” and join in the chants against America.

Elections and politics are about choices. Not all perfect. Rarely 100% where you might want to be. But there is no better system or greater country than the United States of America!

Trump Takes the Gold: There is no way anyone who watched President Trump’s State of the Union address would disagree he deserves a Gold Medal for his performance!

CNN Poll: 64% of speech watchers agreed that Trump’s policies will move the U.S. in the right direction.

CBS Poll: 75% of speech watchers APPROVED of President Trump’s State of the Union Address.

President Trump laid out his vision for America and his accomplishments during his first year in office. America responded.

Again, you may not agree with everything the President has done, or even how he’s done it, but the buffoonery of the Democrats was embarrassing, and voters saw it.

New York City – You Voted for It: A disaster in the making, and LOTS of people seem to be having second thoughts. But America, we have a great example.

Pay attention.

When politicians on the far left, the progressive wing of the Democratic Party say they’re going to do something… and it sounds too crazy to be true. Watch, it’s happening.

When Democrats run candidates with military or intelligence backgrounds with an eye on making them look like they are “moderates,” pay attention… see Virginia. It’s a charade.

Republicans aren’t perfect, but the progressive left that currently controls the party, controls the nominating process, and controls the candidates… is in control.

Watch New York City.

Watch the State of Virginia.

One is a devout socialist, the other a campaign driven so-called moderate.

BOTH are pushing radical policies out of the mainstream, and the garbage is spilling out into the streets.

4 Years Ago This Week: Russia attacked its peaceful neighbor Ukraine because of Putin’s imperial visions of grandeur. Russia invaded Ukraine.

Millions of casualties later, Putin’s “special operation” is a failure, while Ukraine stands stronger, more united, and resolute in its pursuit of peace and independence.

Russia is the aggressor.

Russia violated international law.

Russia ignored the Budapest Agreement it signed along with Ukraine, the U.S., and others.

Russia has committed numerous war crimes over the past 4 years.

Russia continues to terrorize innocent civilians as part of their deliberate strategy.

President Trump has bent over backwards in his attempt to find a peaceful solution to this war. He is willing to tolerate Putin’s lies, manipulation, and bombardments in the hope that eventually there will be a “deal”. Eventually, Putin will push Trump too far… in the meantime, the world waits, supporting Ukraine while tying one hand behind its back.

I think his calculus on “abstaining” on the UN Resolution in “Support for lasting peace in Ukraine” was a mistake. I’m sure the President and his Ukraine team believe it will help the US mediate a settlement, but I doubt it. It will neither generate Russian goodwill nor US credibility. I believe abstaining shows a lack of moral clarity on our part as to who started this war and who is regularly committing war crimes by bombing civilians and kidnapping children.

Peace at any cost is normally referred to as surrender. The Ukrainian people deserve better.

Putin and Russia do NOT deserve any “wins” and should ultimately pay for their aggression.

Why Are Countries Asking to Join NATO: There is ONLY one reason: they fear Russia will attack them too.

Putin and his minions in Russia have nostalgic imperial ambitions that truly don’t fit into the current “world order.”

Peace is simple, just not easy.

Russia, Ukraine, the United States, and the others who signed the Budapest Agreement after the breakup of the Soviet Union should abide by that agreement… and we have peace.

All Russia has to do is leave Ukraine…and we have peace!

Russians stay within its borders and rebuild what should be an economically powerful country. Could you imagine if they became an agent for good versus evil?

Ukraine should rebuild its society, choose its allies and associations, and live as free people.

Really, it’s that simple… just not easy when Putin’s only ambition is power… both personal and legacy based.

Tyrants, bullies, and war criminals should NOT be rewarded… period.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei killed in strikes, led theocratic regime for decades

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed after a massive U.S. and Israeli military operation Saturday, President Trump said, joining multiple Israeli official sources and a senior U.S. intelligence official who had confirmed the news to CBS News.

“Khamenei, one of the most evil people in History, is dead,” Mr. Trump posted on social media.

He added that the U.S. government is “hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us.”

Mr. Trump continued that the “heavy and pinpoint bombing, however, will continue, uninterrupted throughout the week or, as long as necessary to achieve our objective of PEACE THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE EAST AND, INDEED, THE WORLD!”

Iranian state media later reported that Khamenei is dead. The state-run IRNA news agency did not elaborate on his cause of death. Tasmin, a semi-official news agency that is associated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported that Khamenei died in the attack.

An Israeli broadcaster said Saturday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had been shown a photo of Khamenei’s body.

People were cheering in the streets of Tehran, according to a CBS News producer in Tehran.

Trump’s State of the Union Was What Young Americans Needed

State of the Union addresses typically follow a predictable structure. Presidents outline legislative priorities, highlight selected accomplishments, and contrast their agenda with the opposition. Long-term structural challenges that extend beyond a single administration often receive limited attention. Even less common is a sustained focus on younger Americans who will bear the cumulative consequences of current fiscal, economic, and social policy decisions.

President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address departed from that pattern. Rather than referencing generational stability in passing, the speech treated it as a central policy objective.

As someone preparing to enter adulthood in an economy defined by elevated housing costs, rising debt burdens, and declining institutional trust, I have often viewed these addresses as designed to reassure existing voters. This speech instead focused on the structural barriers confronting younger Americans and argued that long-term national prosperity depends on restoring the capacity to build stable, independent lives.

Trump calls for ‘mentally deranged’ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib to ‘be institutionalized’ for SOTU antics

President Trump lambasted “Squad” Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib for their rowdy behavior during his State of the Union address Tuesday evening, calling for them to “be institutionalized.”

“When you watch Low IQ Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as they screamed uncontrollably last night at the very elegant State of the Union, such an important and beautiful event,” Trump began on Truth Social.

“They had the bulging, bloodshot eyes of crazy people, LUNATICS, mentally deranged and sick who, frankly, look like they should be institutionalized,” he added.

The SOTU moment that Republicans hope saves the midterms

Republicans are betting President Donald Trump just handed them the lifeline they need to win on immigration again.

It came as just one quick moment during the president’s record-breaking State of the Union address Tuesday night, when he asked lawmakers to rise if they agreed with a “fundamental principle.”

“If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens,” Trump said, prompting Republicans to take to their feet while Democrats remained roundly seated and expressionless.

That visual — a literal juxtaposition of the two sides of the aisle — is one Republicans are eager to spread across the airwaves and highlight on the campaign trail after weathering months of backlash to Trump’s unpopular mass deportation campaigns. The National Republican Congressional Committee held a meeting Wednesday morning on how best to deploy that specific moment in attack ads against vulnerable Democratic House members, according to one person familiar with the conversation, granted anonymity to discuss private planning.

Trump has sealed the border. Now, Democrats are hell-bent on ending immigration enforcement.

Nine consecutive months of zero illegal alien releases at border while blue cities resist immigration enforcement

When Pandora, the girl of Greek legend, opened the box, the ills of the world spilled out and could never be put back. The lesson was that some things, once done, cannot be undone. Let’s hope that mass illegal migration isn’t one of them.

Under President Joe Biden, the U.S. border was virtually open. He may best be remembered for writing a massive check on his grandchildren’s account, as the financial and social costs mount from the millions released, paroled or just left alone to live without authorization on his watch.

Under President Donald Trump, this ended. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claims “an estimated 2.2 million self-deportations and more than 675,000 deportations” occurred in Trump’s first year in office. I’m skeptical of round numbers and not sure of their accounting methodology. But if it’s anywhere close, that would be a great start on keeping his promise to remove people here illegally.

Meanwhile, at the border, the picture is clear: the tap has been turned off.

Trump and allies launch Census strategy that could upend blue states’ advantage with illegal aliens

Missouri AG says effort to bar the counting of illegal immigrants in the U.S. Census could ultimately land at the U.S. Supreme Court.

President Donald Trump and his allies are launching a double-barreled U.S. census strategy that could eliminate a big electoral and federal funding mechanism for blue states: illegal immigrants.

Missouri Attorney General Katherine Hanaway said her office is asking the courts to bar the federal government from counting immigrants living in the country illegally when determining congressional representation and federal funding, a move she argued could shift political power among the states for decades.

In an interview on the Just the News Not Noise TV program, Hanaway noted that Missouri filed suit challenging the current census policy, which counts all persons residing in the United States for purposes of apportionment.

“We are confident that the Census Bureau is going to start to plan for a census in 2030 where we don’t count illegal immigrants,” Hanaway said. “But we’re going to get a new president in 2028 and we just can’t be assured that he’ll do the right thing. So if we have a court order, and I’m guessing this is going to go all the way to the US Supreme Court, we get that court order, then it’ll be permanent.”

JD or Marco? Trump asking advisers about 2028

President Trump has a new parlor game he’s springing on advisers and confidants: JD Vance or Marco Rubio?

That is, do people favor the vice president or secretary of state to sit atop the GOP ticket to succeed him in 2028? Trump asks casually, but increasingly, several sources tell us.

Why it matters: Trump is focused on his legacy as his last midterm elections approach, and he believes there are no better standard bearers for it than Vance and Rubio.

Trump favors Vance. It’s why he chose him as a running mate.

But Trump has notably and increasingly praised Rubio, in public and private, for his rising profile as secretary of state and national security adviser.

Behind the scenes: Trump enjoys gossiping, revels in playing people off of one another, and freely airs private musings. All five sources who spoke with Axios and relayed Trump’s discussions with them cautioned against interpreting this as Trump souring on Vance.

“Vance-Rubio is the president’s dream ticket” for 2028 — “and to be clear, that’s Vance on top,” said a Trump adviser whom the president recently asked to share opinions about the top of the ticket.

“But would Trump be happy with a Rubio-Vance ticket? Absolutely,” the source said.

“It’s Not Going to End Well for Them”: Susan Rice Joins Call for a Revenge Purge After Democrats Re-Take Power

As Democrats plan for the possible takeover in the midterms and 2028 election, they are already openly discussing their push for radical changes in our political system, including packing the Supreme Court to guarantee that those changes are allowed. Many are also pledging trials, impeachments, and investigations of anyone who supported President Donald Trump in a purging of politics and government. The latest to join the revenge purge pledge is Susan Rice, Democratic powerbroker and top policy adviser to both President Barack Obama and Joe Biden.

In an interview this week, Rice declared that supporters of Trump can expect the proverbial knocks on their doors: “A very prominent public figure, who has served at nearly the very highest levels, once told me … ‘Revenge is best served cold,’ and the older I get, the more I see the wisdom of that.”

She added:

When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media … it’s not going to end well for them, for those that decided that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore, is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump.

The threat of America’s isolationist faction and Korea’s autonomy faction to the U.S.-ROK alliance

For better or worse, whatever transpires in U.S.-ROK relations in 2026 and the remainder of the Trump administration will depend not only on decisions made by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. It will also be determined by political trends and leaders, their advisors, legislators, and opinion-shapers in Washington, D.C. and Seoul.

Any threat to the alliance, as well as to American power and influence in the Asia-Pacific region in a broader sense, will derive not exclusively from the regimes in Pyongyang and Beijing, but also from the machinations of those in the U.S. who are part of what may be termed the isolationist faction in American politics and what is known in South Korea by various names including the autonomy faction, the independence faction, and the self-reliance faction.

Although the terms for this Korean group have very misleading connotations, it will be referred to in this article as the autonomy faction (AF).

The isolationist faction in the U.S., which is sometimes referred to as the “America only” group, as distinct from the much larger and more important non-isolationist “America first” forces, is one whose advocates and allies disingenuously reject the term isolationist. However, since it does very accurately reflect their views and policy positions in practice, they will be referred to as the isolationist faction (IF) in this article.

Can Europe survive without US defence? Surprisingly, the Baltic sea nations are showing the way.

When European countries in the Baltic Sea region joined Nato for protection against Russia, they were not anticipating their most powerful Nato ally would be the one threatening to seize territory from them. The shock of the Greenland crisis may have faded from the headlines, but Donald Trump’s US has also suggested it may decide not to defend Europe. And Russia continues to be a nuisance in the Baltic Sea.

Luckily, the vulnerable Baltic nations have launched an impressive string of initiatives to keep their mini-ocean safe. As the US sheds responsibility for Europe’s defence, these efforts could provide a model for the future of Nato itself.

Finland announced in January that it would team up with other Baltic Sea countries to create a maritime surveillance centre. Finland sees it as a way to increase capability and authority to intervene in “situations” in its territorial sea and exclusive economic zone. It’s a sensible measure.

The US-Lithuania LNG partnership exposes the myth that there are ‘no alternatives’ to Russian gas

This week marks ten years since the first-ever export cargo of US liquefied natural gas (LNG) departed the contiguous United States from a Gulf Coast terminal in Sabine Pass, Louisiana. Made possible by the twenty-first-century shale revolution, this moment was a turning point in the global energy landscape, after which the United States rapidly grew from a net importer of natural gas in the early 2010s to the world’s top exporter by 2022.

In commemorating this milestone, Lithuania’s LNG partnership with the United States stands out as a powerful example of transatlantic cooperation. It demonstrates how expanded US export capacity—combined with strategic infrastructure development, resolute energy-sector reform, and sufficient political will in Europe—can produce real alternatives to Russian gas. Once regarded as an isolated “energy island” on the Baltic Sea, Lithuania today has reshaped the regional energy landscape in Central and Eastern Europe by becoming a key gateway for US LNG imports in markets spanning Finland to Ukraine.

Today, Lithuania imports more than three-quarters of its LNG from the United States, helping bolster Vilnius’s status as a “model ally” to Washington. The rest of Lithuania’s imports come from Norway and some other smaller suppliers, allowing the country to preserve flexibility amid any potential fluctuations in the global LNG market. As Hungary and Slovakia attempt to disrupt European Union (EU) plans to phase out Russian gas by 2027, Lithuania’s experience directly challenges their claims that geography or historical dependence leave certain countries with “no alternatives” to Russian supply.

Four Years of War in Europe

Eight thinkers on the lasting impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

If, at the outset in 2022, many saw Russia’s war against Ukraine as a regional conflict that might be contained, its nature as a global geopolitical turning point has become ever clearer. The invasion that Moscow launched four years ago next week has forced Europe to rearm and think about future wars on the continent. The Eurasian autocracies have aligned economically, technologically, and strategically in unprecedented ways—bringing Iranian weapons and North Korean soldiers deep into the European battlespace. The economics of energy are shifting as Europe cuts its links to Russia and the dangers of overreliance on a hostile power have become plain to see.

Many of these developments have been turbocharged since the inauguration of U.S. President Donald Trump. His hostile stance toward Europe, abandonment of aid to Ukraine, and eagerness to strike a deal with Russia have put even more of an onus on Europe to secure stability on its borders and prepare for future conflict. As Washington refocuses on the Western Hemisphere, Europe is reaching out to new partners around the globe, accelerating the shift to a post-American world.

To assess the state of the war, prospects for peace, and further geopolitical fallout, we asked eight of our best thinkers for their views. Read on for their responses, or click on an individual author and topic below.
