Illegal immigrants storm US border in El Paso, knock over guards amid standoff over Texas law
The state’s anti-illegal immigration law is currently on hold
A large group of illegal immigrants burst through razor wire and surged towards the border wall in El Paso, Texas, on Thursday in a chaotic scene during which guards were knocked over — just as the state’s anti-illegal immigration law is being held up in the courts.
Video taken by the New York Post showed dozens of adult males ripping away razor wire that was set up by the state and charging past Texas National Guardsmen. They then ran towards a section of border wall where they were blocked from entering further.
A Texas law enforcement source told Fox News the group consisted of over 300 illegal immigrants, and about 100 adult males rushed the soldiers, and one has been arrested so far for assaulting a soldier. The melee began when one family unit was allowed through. The source said that more arrests are likely coming for destruction of property and assault.

A group of over 100 migrants attempted to enter the US illegally by rushing a border wall Thursday, breaking through razor wire and knocking over guards in the process.
The Post had earlier witnessed around 600 migrants massed at the international border, as part of a “spring surge” of migrants hoping to gain access to the US.
The Texas National Guard was attempting to organize them into smaller groups, but the situation grew tense after some women and children were separated from adult males by the guardsmen.
Video taken by The Post showed one set of migrants, mostly single men, then rushing the Texas troops.
A group of men with hoodies, gloves and winter jackets could be seen pulling fencing away and dashing through the concertina wire, as a group of five guards stood in a defensive formation to fill the gap.

A TikTok influencer is advising his followers on how to ‘invade’ American homes and invoke squatter’s rights, making it difficult for them to be removed from properties.
Leonel Moreno, who goes by @leitooficial_25 online and appears to be a Venezuelan migrant, has told his followers that under US law, ‘if a house is not inhabited, we can seize it’.
He is referring to squatter’s rights, or adverse possession laws – a common law principle that allows an illegal inhabitant to acquire ownership of a property based on continuous occupation without the legal owner’s consent.
Moreno, alleging he has friends who ‘have already taken about seven homes’, argued the only way for migrants to not live in the streets or be a ‘public burden’ is to ‘seize’ and ‘invade’ abandoned properties.
The now-viral video, which has been viewed almost 4million times, has prompted outrage from many social media users. Some have claimed.
Moreno is ‘promoting terrorism’ and are now calling on the FBI and Department of Homeland Security to action.
Squatter’s rights laws exist in all 50 states and have sparked a crisis across the nation. ‘Serial squatters’ are overtaking homes and helpless families booted out of their houses by crooks are desperately turning to vigilantes to reclaim their homes.

The New York Post brings us yet more news in an overly familiar new genre: a Lebanese immigrant caught at the El Paso-Juarez border admitted he was a member of the terrorist group Hezbollah and entered with plans to build a bomb in New York.
It’s important to note that no US government agent forced this confession out of Basel Bassel Ebbadi, 22, as part of any well-worn border counterterrorism program.
No, Ebbadi bushwhacked medical personnel in the health section with the unsolicited confession.
And if he hadn’t, he seemed poised to be ushered into America with everyone else crossing the border from all the nations of the Middle East and world who arrive without any identification.

Senate Eyes Crackdown on U.S. Aid Group’s Abuse of Taxpayer Funds
A bipartisan coalition of senators is proposing legislation that would stop the U.S. government’s leading foreign aid group from wasting hundreds of millions in taxpayer funds on costly items such as luxury hotels and airfares, the Washington Free Beacon has learned.
The legislation, spearheaded by Sen. Joni Ernst (R., Iowa) and set to be unveiled later Thursday, would force the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to implement a series of reforms to drive down the cost of projects and stop it from spending taxpayer dollars on high price items like hotels, lobbying services, and luxury airfares, according to a copy of the measure obtained by the Free Beacon.
USAID, which doled out around $15 billion in 2022 alone, has been in the spotlight as it takes a leading role delivering humanitarian aid in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip, an effort that has included pressuring Israel to open up border crossings that ultimately help the Iran-backed terror group siphon goods from civilians.
Ernst’s bill—which is backed by Sens. Chris Coons (D., Del.), Pete Ricketts (R., Neb.), and Tim Kaine (D., Va.)—comes as USAID stonewalls a congressional probe into its spending habits, which have largely gone unchecked. Ernst has been pressing the agency to come clean about its global expenditures for nearly two years, as government oversight reports indicate that 43 percent of USAID’s awards achieved “on average, approximately half of award expectations.”

Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability had a meltdown Wednesday over Hunter Biden’s ex-business partner Tony Bobulinski’s accusations that President Joe Biden lied about his foreign business dealings involving his son and brother.
Bobulinski previously asserted that Joe Biden was involved with Hunter’s business dealings despite the president’s claims that he never discussed business with his son. Bobulinski worked with Hunter Biden, James Biden (the president’s brother), and two other men at a shell company, Oneida Holdings, created in May 2017 to form a business partnership with China Energy Company (CEFC).
Bobulinski claims that in these partnerships, the Biden family name was “aggressively leverage[d]” into lucrative business deals “to the tune of millions of dollars.” He also alleged that the Chinese Communist Party attempted to use these dealings to “infiltrate and compromise” the Obama White House.
He had texts, emails and other receipts made available to the committee to support these claims. Still, Democrats spent almost the entire hearing calling him a liar who was using this time to be vindictive against the Biden family in hopes that he could earn a chance to be former President Donald Trump’s running mate in the 2024 election.
Biden’s HHS reportedly lost 85,000 migrant children — GOP lawmakers demand answers: Report
Republican lawmakers are demanding more information from the Department of Health and Human Services regarding the reportedly 85,000 unaccompanied alien children the agency can no longer locate, according to a Wednesday letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

In February 2023, the New York Times released an article that claimed the Biden administration’s HHS, which is responsible for placing unaccompanied migrant children with sponsors, could no longer get in touch with tens of thousands of children. It noted that the agency is supposed to check in on the minors by calling them one month after they are placed with a U.S.-based sponsor. The report found that “over the last two years, the agency could not reach more than 85,000 children.”
“Overall, the agency lost immediate contact with a third of migrant children” placed in its care, the Times stated. Kamara Jones, an HHS spokesperson, reportedly told the news outlet that, with the influx of migrants coming across the southern border, the agency was pressured to find sponsors for the unaccompanied children quickly, which ultimately compromised their safety.
