Putin Still a War Criminal – New Mid-term Convention??? – Trump Keeps on Winning

If we lose freedom here, there is no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.

– Ronald Reagan

I am not aware of any concessions by the Russian Federation for a peaceful settlement. I do not consider promises not to occupy Ukraine further as concessions.

– Ukrainian President Zelenksy

When you ‘affirm’ mental illness instead of treating it, people get hurt.

– U.S. Senator Jim Banks

Putin is a Bully – Russia Threatens Paris: Imagine, the President of a self-proclaimed “super power” getting mad at a political statement about said President – called Putin “a predator and an ogre at our doorstep.”

Factually accurate.

In response to NATO’s self defense posture against Russia, Putin’s press “attack dog” said, “That’s why we’ll be on Champs-Elysées. And Macron will be polishing the boots of a Russian officer.”

They bomb civilian targets, they kidnap children, they ignore various “peace” agreements they have signed… and claim they never attacked anyone while threatening to march on Paris?!?

And yet, some keep falling for their rhetoric and gamesmanship.

A Mid-Term Convention – I Like It: Think about a national pep rally to tell the American people our story of success… never been done before, but I like it.

The convention would bring together activists from every state to share policy wins that many Americans have not necessarily focused on. It would also give Republicans an opportunity to showcase many of our up and coming stars… from Members of Congress to Governors.. many of which would likely be presidential candidate “wanna-bes.”

Not only could this serve as a huge PR win and motivational event to get out the vote, but it would help conservatives and Republicans jump-start the presidential process by allowing the top viable options to tell their story, make their pitch, and show their stuff.

You could even create a political process where states participate in a delegate-like process to shadow nominate participants to get key speaking roles. Since you don’t want to limit credible potential candidate opportunities, the RNC could create a list of “potential candidates,” and each state nominates their top 10 choices out of the list of potentially 20-25 or even 50 to get key speaking roles at such a convention.

The benefits of such an open process could be huge. Potential candidates would be able to get a feel for activists’ initial reaction to their candidacy. You not only allow, but encourage grassroots organizations across the country to start organizing. You have some 20-50 leading Republicans on the stump nationwide “selling” the successes of the Republican Party and President Trump while making the case of why they deserve another 4 years to keep it going and implement some new policies or ways of governing.

In order to avoid distorting most candidates opportunity to shine, you automatically and naturally give Vice President Vance his spot… and NOT have him on the state ballots. That way you avoid distorting activists ranking for those who feel they should vote for Vance because of Trump or think it would be politically the right thing to do. He’s a (if not the) leading potential nominee, while others have yet to have a chance to shine.

Obviously, the best voice, storyteller, and motivator will be President Trump. Any way you look at it, few in history have demanded the attention, effectiveness, and connection he has had with the American people.

My initial reaction to a midterm convention is very positive. There are some downsides, no doubt. But Americans will need to be reminded of the successes on so many fronts and the need to retain a Republican majority in Congress… let’s ask why not. And then if we can get a jump on the presidential process…you provide the 2028 process a head start that could serve the conservative and MAGA movement well.

I’m more than intrigued.

This Week: New poll shows most American agree with President Trump on crime crackdown, DNC is still on the hook for Kamala Harris campaign debt, and could we see a GOP convention before the mid-terms?

Tired of winning? Here are 10 reasons why last week was Trump’s best yet

Based on the numbers, President Donald Trump’s second term has been an unmitigated success as we just passed the eight-month mark since his inauguration.

First number: Zero.

That’s the number of illegal migrants released into the country in the past two months. And it’s not because Trump’s wall has been completed, but because the president, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and border czar Tom Homan put down the hammer in warning anyone thinking of entering the country not to do so or risk being arrested and deported.

Second number: 250,000

For context, that’s the number of migrants who crossed into the country under former President Joe Biden in December 2023. Overall, according to Customs and Border Protection, 10.8 million migrants were encountered entering the country illegally under the Biden-Harris administration, with millions more “gotaways” entering and not being encountered.

Ten most important revelations about the Obama-Biden era of weaponization

The Trump administration’s probe into weaponization of the intelligence community, beginning with the genesis of the fake Russia collusion allegations in 2016, has kicked into full gear this summer.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and FBI Director Kash Patel have declassified and released a mountain of documents shedding light on how the bureau’s deeply flawed and politically-motivated Trump-Russia inquiry, known as “Crossfire Hurricane,” got off the ground.

The documents also detail fact-laden whistleblower complaints and an internal FBI probe into then-Rep. Adam Schiff’s and then-Director James Comey’s orders to leak classified information to the press, respectively.

“No one is above the law”

Ironically, several of the key players in what could be a coordinated abuse of power consistently chanted that “No one is above the law,” and may face legal consequences of their own.

The Left’s Misdefinition of Americanism

This week, Axios ran a fascinating piece about the supposed “redefinition” of Americanism under President Donald Trump. Titled “Inside Trump’s American identity project,” Axios posited that “President Trump is wielding government power to enforce a more rigid, exclusionary definition of what it means to be American.”

What would this new definition entail? “In MAGA’s telling, America is the heir to ancient European civilizations, built on a Judeo-Christian foundation of white identity, meritocracy, traditional gender roles and the nuclear family,” says Axios. “These tenets are cast as universal truths—and mantras such as ‘America is an idea’ or ‘diversity is our strength’ are dismissed as liberal fictions.”

First off, America is heir to ancient European civilizations—particularly with reference to private property, the common law system, traditions of free speech, and freedom of religion, among others. Second, America is built on a Judeo-Christian foundation. Third, America is built on the meritocracy, which argues that the best and most productive ought to succeed in a free system. America is built on traditional gender roles and the nuclear family, as is every successful society in history.

While America is an idea—or a set of ideas—those ideas must be reified in institutions and human behavior. And the notion that any nation can be built on a completely specious phrase like “diversity is our strength” is counterintuitive at best.

So, what is Axios attempting to do? Axios is attempting to link actual traditional definitions of Americanism with white supremacy. Never mind that all the ideas Axios cites as “traditional” fundamentally reject ethnic identitarianism: equality before law, for example, presumes racial indifference; Judeo-Christian religion rejects racial classification; the meritocracy is definitionally opposed to racial preferences; and traditional gender roles and the nuclear family are institutions held in common by people of all races. The goal is simple: a forced choice between “racism” and a left-wing definition of Americanism that bears zero weight.

The Democratic Party is disintegrating before our very eyes

As things stand, the Democrats might never win another presidential election

The Democratic Party just might spend the next 20 years in the wilderness, and it has only itself to blame.

Things have never been this bad for the party of hope and change. They hope they can change, but they’re face-to-face with a three-headed beast that threatens to push them off a cliff: Millions of voters are abandoning the party, approval ratings have hit a 30-year low and fundraising is in the dumper.

Let’s break down those three. Between the 2020 and 2024 elections, Democrats lost ground to Republicans in all 30 states that track voter registration by political party, as reported by The New York Times last week. The exodus represents a staggering 4.5-million-voter swing toward Republicans, and the political chasm could take years, even decades, to bridge.

Democrats lost more than 2 million registered voters during the period, while Republicans gained 2.4 million, according to the paper’s analysis. Last year, for the first time since 2018, more new voters nationwide chose to register as Republicans than Democrats. The voter flight occurred across the political spectrum: in battleground states, deep-blue strongholds and red states alike.

The party’s struggles extend beyond voter registration. A recent CNBC survey shows the Democratic Party’s net favorability has plummeted to a near three-decade low of -32 among registered voters. The party now holds just a 24% positive rating, compared with a 56% negative rating. “The -32 rating appeared to be the lowest rating for either party going back to at least 1996,” CNBC reported.

Establishment Reeling After Trump’s 7-Month War Against Deep State

President Donald Trump has issued a slew of executive orders targeting the Washington, D.C., establishment during a seven-month campaign aimed at federal bureaucratic institutions.

The Trump administration has focused on dismantling the “Deep State” by firing bureaucrats and career politicians Trump has argued are influenced by partisan interests — a promise he highlighted during his presidential campaign.

A February executive order moved all regulatory bodies under White House supervision, erasing decades of autonomy and paving the way for the gutting of agencies like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Trump has fired or demoted more than 20 inspectors general since he took office, according to a New York Times (NYT) report.

In his most recent move, Trump fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook over allegations of mortgage fraud. Cook was nominated to the board by former President Joe Biden.

‘Web of dark money’ tied to Obama, Dems fuels green opposition to crucial Trump energy plan

‘This isn’t about the environment. It’s about political control over America’s energy future and our energy dominance,’ said Jason Isaac

An American energy leader is warning that several progressive “green” environmental groups opposing President Donald Trump’s nuclear energy plans are linked to a “web of dark money” groups with ties to former President Barack Obama and other Democrats.

Jason Isaac, CEO of the American Energy Institute, warned during an interview with Fox News Digital that while claiming to stand for the planet, these groups “have prioritized ideology over innovation” and are “driven by green activists and groups deeply tied to the Democratic Party.”

“You follow the money, you’ll see where it leads. It leads straight to partisan mega-donors, foreign interests, and failed climate crusaders,” Isaac said. “This isn’t about the environment. It’s about political control over America’s energy future and our energy dominance.”

Isaac’s comments follow Trump’s signing of several executive orders in May to “usher in a nuclear renaissance” by cutting red tape to accelerate advancements in nuclear technologies. In one of the orders, Trump said that “abundant energy is a vital national- and economic-security interest” and “in conjunction with domestic fossil fuel production, nuclear energy can liberate America from dependence on geopolitical rivals.”

Trump signs orders targeting cashless bail policies in D.C., other states

President Trump signed an executive order Monday threatening to pull federal support from the District of Columbia and other jurisdictions that refuse to end their cashless bail policies.

The executive order said federal funds, services or approvals can be withheld if local leaders don’t comply.

Another executive order said federal grants and contracts for cities and states with cashless bail policies could be canceled.

Mr. Trump said the move toward cashless bail “was when the big crime in this country started.”

“Somebody kills somebody, they go and [say,] ‘Don’t worry about it. Come back in a couple of months, we’ll give you a trial.’ You never see the person again. And I mean, they kill people and they get out [with] cashless bail,” the president said.

The D.C.-based order tasks Attorney General Pam Bondi with reviewing the District’s bail policies to determine whether defendants charged with murder, rape, carjacking, assault, burglary, looting or vandalism are eligible for pretrial release.

Biden migrants linked to New York crime surge, study shows

The illegal immigrants who streamed into New York City over the past four years led to increases in crime near the hotels where they were housed, according to a new academic study that lends some credence to President Trump’s claims of a Biden migrant crime surge.

William LeRoy, an incoming professor at Charles University in Prague, crunched crime report data and found that arrests of Hispanics, the dominant demographic of the largely Venezuelan newcomers, rose in the immediate areas around the hotels.

The significant increase was in lower-level thefts.

“The baseline increase in Hispanic arrest rates is driven primarily by cash-generating offenses, such as petit and grand larceny, indicating that economic hardship is a leading factor behind criminal behavior,” Mr. LeRoy concluded.

He said the crime increases seemed to be tied to the lack of job prospects for the new arrivals.

Using Hispanics as proxies for illegal immigrants, Mr. LeRoy compared crime reports with ZIP codes where migrants showed up in city-funded housing. He found a 5.5% increase, relative to the average, in the percentage of Hispanic arrests starting with the arrival of the first bus of migrants sent in August 2022 by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.

Worse than Antifa: Inside the new breed of ultra-extremist groups dedicated to chaos, violence — and even alleged murder

Scram-tifa?

The far-left radical movement known as Antifa has been getting its own taste of cancel culture.

Just look at what happened on Aug. 19 in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood. Masked, fist-clenched agitators belonging to the anarchist collective turned up to sow chaos — but locals banded together to confront the troublemakers, telling them to get lost.

For some people who ascribe to the Antifa ideology, protests and petty vandalism have gotten old — with groups now turning to ghastly acts of violence.

It was the 34th anniversary of the Crown Heights race riots and, instead of summoning a revival of 2020’s racial unrest, the Antifas slinked away as a crowd encircling them chanted, “F–k Antifa!”

Experts who track domestic terrorism and extremist movements aren’t surprised: Once the face of a grassroots leftwing insurgency, Antifa has lost its spark.

But experts warn that could be a dangerous thing — as the vacuum has given way to even more fringe and violent offshoots that are coalescing in the Marxist ether. And we’re only beginning to see the deadly fallout.

Last month, Benjamin Song, a member of the Antifa militant groups Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club and the Socialist Rifle Association, led a group of 10 radicals — eight of whom were found living in a reportedly squalid transgender commune — in an armed ambush at an ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas. The shooting left one officer injured.

US northern border smuggling creates ‘shopping grounds’ for migrants to sanctuary communities: attorney

Immigration attorney warns smugglers are adapting routes and targeting sanctuary cities for maximum benefits

Canadian authorities intercepted a U-Haul truck packed with 44 migrants near the Vermont border on Aug. 3, as human smuggling networks grow in sophistication along the United States’ northern frontier.

That case, now under investigation as a suspected human trafficking operation, captures a dangerous shift in smuggling routes as pressure mounts along the southern border.

Immigration attorney and former Connecticut Senate candidate Peter Lumaj, who has practiced immigration law for decades, told Fox News Digital that smugglers are constantly adapting to changes in U.S. enforcement.

“The smugglers are very sophisticated. They are able to read what’s happening in a certain country, whether it’s the United States, Canada, or Mexico,” he said.

Smuggling along the northern border is not new, but the direction of movement has changed. Lumaj noted that while the flow used to be largely from Canada into the U.S., in recent years there has also been a surge of migrants attempting to cross into Canada from the U.S. to avoid deportation to their home countries.

Trump floats holding Republican National Convention before midterm elections

President announces consideration of pre-midterm gathering while touting party fundraising success

President Donald Trump is considering holding a Republican National Convention ahead of the midterm elections, he announced Thursday.

Trump did not offer any details about where the convention would take place, or what would happen there, but he touted various statistics that have been beneficial for the Republican Party this year. The GOP is fighting to maintain control of both the House and Senate in 2026.

“The Republican Party is doing really well. Millions of people have joined us in our quest to MAKE AMERICA, GREAT AGAIN. We won every aspect of the Presidential Election and, based on the great success we are having, are poised to WIN BIG IN THE MIDTERMS,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“We have raised far more money than the Democrats, and are having a great time fixing all of the Country Destroying mistakes made by the Biden Administration, and watching the USA heal and prosper. The results are incredible, a record pace!!! In that light, I am thinking of recommending a National Convention to the Republican Party, just prior to the Midterms. It has never been done before. STAY TUNED!” he added.

Historically, midterms have been tough elections for the party controlling the White House, typically losing roughly 25 seats in the House. Trump and the Republicans lost 41 House seats in the 2018 midterms.

Ukraine built the defense industry of the future while fighting for survival

Ukrainian forces increasingly buy weapons directly from startups, avoiding traditional government contracting.

According to a new report by Tech Force in UA and the Better Regulation Delivery Office, 88% of Ukraine’s defense tech companies sell directly to military units, compared to 64% that fulfill traditional government contracts.

The shift demonstrates a development cycle unfamiliar to most Western defense establishments: direct battlefield feedback driving rapid product iteration, often outpacing traditional procurement processes.

From garage startups to professional operations

The numbers, contained in the new and first-ever report on Ukrainian defence tech producers titled aptly “War-driven: The rise of Ukrainian defence tech and the private industry behind it,” released on Thursday at the “Joint Ventures, Joint Defence” forum in Lviv, paint a picture of an industry that shouldn’t exist according to traditional defense doctrine.

Ukrainian startups are expanding at an absurd 218% annual growth, building factories in three months while Pentagon contracts take years to approve.

Nearly three-quarters of the Ukrainian defence tech companies were founded or pivoted to military technology after Russia’s 2022 invasion, creating an entirely new ecosystem from scratch.

“The war itself decides which weapons are best,” says Vadym Yunyk, president of Tech Force in UA, representing nearly 80 defense companies producing everything from attack drones to electronic warfare systems.
